The coral shade is absolutely gorgeous! It's perfect as a base color!

Although it's called Coral Soul, when applied it looks less coral and more... pink-leaning. I'd say it's about 40% coral and 60% pink.

Easy to apply with a blurred effect, great for gradient looks, and works well as a base lip color. (Swatches shown in order: n swipes, single swipe, gradient application)

I'm puzzled by the 'Coral Soul' name - it doesn't match the actual color at all

The scent was a bit artificial, which I didn't like! Also, it slightly accentuates dead skin cells!

For a matte lip product, it didn't emphasize dead skin cells much! Plus, the color is absolutely gorgeous

If your lips aren't well-moisturized, it can accentuate dry patches, and it tends to fade away rather quickly.

It absorbs beautifully and the color payoff is gorgeous, making it perfect for both made-up and bare-faced looks. If your lips are in their usual condition, it won't emphasize any dead skin cells.

Try using the lipstick bullet to apply color to the center of your lips, then use the thin brush applicator for more precise application around the edges. I tend to overdo it when I use just the bullet!

The Coral Soul color is perfect as a base! You can apply it just to the edges of your lips, use it as an all-over base, or wear it alone for a subtle look.

It glides on smoothly, adheres thinly, and doesn't feel heavy on the lips at all!

It's great for winter, but also feels light and clean in summer!

You know how lipsticks tend to melt in summer? This one doesn't. It's so convenient to carry around!

Pro tip: Use this color as an overall base, then gradient with Peripera Ink the Airy Velvet Stick in shade 06 (I think it's called Daily Rose?) in the center for a perfect spring pink look.

✗ It has a strong white undertone. I expected a lively coral when I bought it, but it feels more like a muted base color. The shade itself is pretty, so I might reach for it often!

✗ It tends to settle into lip lines! I was shocked when I applied it on a day my lips weren't in great condition. Now I only use it after thorough exfoliation.

✓ The color is subtle, so I bought it to wear alone, but it's good enough to use as a base! It has more of a pink undertone rather than a vibrant coral feel.

✓ It feels quite similar to Peripera's Ink the Airy Velvet Stick products. Comparing the two, Clio's adheres better to the lips! However, Peripera feels lighter on the lips. Neither product transfers much, but Clio's feels a bit more matte.

Although I have a warm complexion, I use this as a base layer when I'm wearing pink-tinted lip products or when I feel like one layer isn't enough. I also apply it lightly when I'm heading out. However, I wouldn't recommend this shade for those with very warm undertones.

I couldn't quite figure out how to apply lipsticks with this texture. While most people seem to like this lightweight texture and how it absorbs, I found it very uncomfortable to apply. It seemed to emphasize dead skin cells on my lips. There's a white cast and even a slight grayish tint to it.

It's an MLBB shade with a subtle white undertone! Rather than wearing it alone, it looks prettier as a base layer. I'd recommend this more for cool tones than warm tones.
