The texture is incredibly lightweight and feels amazing on the skin. It's remarkably smooth and seems to blend seamlessly with my natural skin tone.
ConsThere's a slight richness to it, but it's not overpowering. I didn't find much to complain about... maybe just the price?

ConsLacks color-correcting properties and questionable whether it truly improves makeup adherence

I initially wanted to buy the VDL corrector, but heard it doesn't really help with pores or texture. This seemed like a two-in-one solution, so I went for it. It's best to think of it as a primer rather than a corrector. That said, I'm satisfied because it applies lightly, feels hydrating, and does help improve skin texture.
ConsIt doesn't seem to do much for evening out complexion. When you apply it, it feels more like putting on a clear, hydrating moisturizer.

I finally understood why she's been stocking up on this cream for so long (Why didn't she tell me about this gem sooner?). With summer in mind, I wanted a lighter correcting cream rather than a heavy concealer-type, and this one is incredibly lightweight (almost like whipped cream?). It also absorbs well! When you first squeeze it out, you get a mint and peach-toned correcting cream that neutralizes redness and instantly brightens your complexion. Since it's a color corrector, those with more blemishes might want to layer a concealer on top for even better coverage. What's even more amazing is its staying power, which is crucial in summer! For some reason, this cream has great longevity, and even when it does wear off, it fades beautifully, leaving your skin looking radiant and translucent (I can't stress this enough!). On days when I don't use it, my skin looks dull as it wears off, but with this cream, even as it fades, my skin looks so pretty that I'm constantly checking myself in the mirror! There's a slight dewy finish, but it just looks like a natural glow (probably due to my combination skin and sweat). My friends have complimented my skin, and I've never had to touch up my makeup - my skin just looks so clear and beautiful that this product is definitely worth its price! If you have dull skin that needs both violet and mint tones to correct, plus you don't want to give up on a peach base, or if you're struggling to choose between high-end color correcting bases, I highly recommend trying this one! It's truly a must-have item. I'm 100000000% going to repurchase this!
Cons1. If you keep rubbing it while applying, it does disappear, but for some reason, the product tends to ball up slightly into tiny spheres. (This might just be my product, so please let me know if others don't experience this!) 2. For those who don't like strong fragrances in cosmetics, be aware that this does have a noticeable scent. I didn't notice it while applying, but when I sniffed it for this review, I realized it has quite a strong cosmetic fragrance.
TipTips for those with oily or combination skin!!! Follow these steps for long-lasting makeup that fades beautifully even when it wears off! 1. Apply sunscreen, then use blotting paper to remove excess oil. 2. Apply Stila One Step Correct Cream to even out your skin tone and neutralize redness. 3. Use the famous The Saem concealer (review coming soon!) on areas you want to cover, like cheeks and nose. Pat it in thoroughly with a sponge. 4. Apply a thin layer of foundation over everything to unify the skin tone. 5. Set with a no-sebum powder, and you're done! The result? Summer-proof makeup that won't slide off, and even if it does fade, it leaves your skin looking beautifully translucent!

It evens out your complexion and reduces redness while keeping your skin hydrated. Apply this lightly, then follow up with a thorough foundation application, and your skin will look amazing! Just keep in mind, like other Stila products, it goes on sheer. So if you're after full coverage or intense pigmentation, you might want to think twice.
ConsThe price is a bit wicked, if there's anything to complain about. It would have been nice if the product came in a larger size to justify the cost.

I immediately bought it and I'm still using it regularly. While other bases make my skin oily, this one just feels cool and absorbs well into my skin!
ConsIf you use too much, it doesn't absorb well. It's also on the pricier side if you buy it in Korea.

I also loved the lightweight feel - it's like you're wearing nothing at all.
ConsHowever, don't expect any dramatic effects. I'm just using it as a primer, to be honest.
TipFor touch-ups, try applying the One Step Correct with a brush first, then layer your foundation on top. It creates a flawless finish. There's also a slight cooling effect, which is quite nice.

(Someone below mentioned MAC Strobe Cream, but that makes me itchy and breaks me out, so this is much better for me!) I love the lightweight feel and the pleasant, non-sticky hydration it provides. It balances oil and moisture perfectly, preventing deep dryness and improving lasting power. It even helps a bit with improving skin tone and reducing redness, though the effect is subtle.
ConsIf there's a downside, it's that the lightweight nature means you won't feel dramatic effects when using it. But isn't that true for most hydrating bases? You miss it when you stop using it though! Also, the regular price is a bit steep.
TipOnly a fool would buy this at full price since Stila often has buy-one-get-one-free deals. Wait for a sale! Here's a tip about pilling: don't apply your base products too thickly when using this. You don't need to anyway, as this product provides enough hydration on its own (which makes it convenient). I spray on an all-in-one skin emulsion generously, let it absorb fully, then use just one pump of this for my whole face. Works great that way!

ConsWhile the texture is incredibly light, to the point where I can't even tell if I've applied it, why does it pill like an eraser when I try to layer makeup on top? Whether it's sunscreen, cushion products, or foundation, everything just rolls off. Am I supposed to wear this alone? Honestly, I'd rather repurchase MAC Strobe Cream than this again. It's even pricier than MAC, but it's a total letdown.
