My skin is quite fair, so most foundations in shade 13 always looked a bit dark on me. However, this A'PIEU foundation was the only one that actually brightened my complexion, which I really loved! Great value for money! It doesn't separate and provides decent coverage. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice glow it gives. Plus, you get a generous amount of product. Highly recommend! There wasn't much I disliked about it. The only thing is that since I prefer a matte finish, I had to make sure to apply powder on top.

This product provides enough coverage that you only need to apply one layer for a flawless complexion. It's more moisturizing than other products, so it doesn't flake off as easily. The only downside is that if you accidentally squeeze out too much product, you can't put it back in the tube, which feels wasteful. Wide range of shades Most cosmetics in shade 21 are too dark for me, while 13 matches my skin exactly. So when darkening occurs... it gets even darker :( I've always been searching for a shade slightly brighter than my complexion, and finally found the lightest one. It's affordable with a water-like texture that's easy to apply. I don't need coverage anyway, so that's not an issue. I have cool undertones with some redness, so pink-based products can make my face look too red. This shade is perfect - it's a neutral tone that brightens without leaning warm or cool. The color is truly fantastic. If there's one downside, it might be slight darkening. But I don't apply it thickly from the start, so I haven't really noticed much darkening. I'm thrilled that this foundation works for my very fair skin, which has been hard to match! It's also great for mixing with other foundations to get the perfect shade. I highly recommend this to those who find even the lightest shades of other brands look dull on their complexion. For me, it's a bit too matte. Those with dry skin might struggle with this. It also seems to break down unattractively and tends to settle into fine lines. Since it's matte, I suggest using a damp beauty sponge or mixing it with other foundations for a more hydrating finish.

Seeing it on sale for just $6, I had to buy it! Naturally, it lasts longer than sunscreen when used as makeup. It maintains that initial white sunscreen look from morning to night. Since I have dry skin, I rarely experience darkening or makeup breakdown... so I can't really judge the product's longevity itself. The shade is extremely light, and I'm so grateful it's not pink-based! I'm not a fan of cushions either, so I appreciate this non-cushion packaging. Even though I have dry skin, I don't feel any dryness at all, even in the dead of winter! The formula doesn't seem particularly drying. I'll likely repurchase. The coverage isn't great... but since coverage isn't that important to me, I'm still satisfied. I loved that they offer foundation shades for different complexions. It's exactly the type of foundation I prefer. The darkening effect and longevity were a bit disappointing. Everything else was pretty good though.
