  Pros

  I bought this to remove blackheads, but now I use it every time I take off my makeup. Previously, I used a lip and eye remover followed by second and third cleansing steps. Now, I do my first cleanse with this cleansing oil, and on days when I feel there's too much oil residue, I follow up with a cleansing soap. Otherwise, I just stick to this one-step cleanse. The cleansing effectiveness is really impressive. Even though my mascara and eyeliner are waterproof, they come off cleanly after about a minute of massaging. As for the texture, it's an oil type, so when you squeeze it onto your face, you need to start massaging right away or it will drip. I can't remember the exact price... haha! Oh, and I'm really happy that my blackheads have noticeably faded. I didn't do anything special like opening my pores - I just used this product, and I'm satisfied with how much lighter they've become.

  Cons

  If it gets into your eyes, your vision becomes cloudy. It's disappointing that despite being an oil product, it has a liquid-like consistency that easily gets into the eyes.

  Tip

  I massage the product for about a minute, then dampen my hands slightly with water, massage again, and then rinse my face.

  The texture feels soft and velvety, and it effectively removes even waterproof products.

  Cons

  My son has mild blemishes, and my daughter has no acne but oily skin, so she's always been conscious about it. I bought this to remove point makeup too. After using it about 5 times, my face felt tight, so I stopped. It got better after stopping. Since using this, my skin looked less clear and makeup didn't apply as well. Overall, it felt somewhat unclean. My daughter, who never had blemishes and has fair skin, suddenly had her face turn red and break out. My son, who only had a few blemishes, ended up with his face covered in acne to the point of needing to see a doctor. Wondering why both kids reacted at the same time, I realized we've been using Nu Skin products for skincare and cleansing for 6 years, along with natural oils and hydrating moisturizers. Thinking this might be the cause, I came to check the reviews on Hwahae. Looks like there are many cases like ours. Sigh....

  Pros

  This review is based on using two full bottles. Texture: It's an oil with almost no viscosity, like water. When pumped into your hand, it flows freely. Perhaps because of this, it feels light and refreshing, which seems to be an accurate description. Makeup Removal Effectiveness: Its cleansing power is quite good. It even removes Kiss Me mascara with just a bit of massaging. After emulsifying, while it doesn't leave your skin squeaky clean, there's no oily residue either. Sebum Removal: I bought this product because it's said to be effective in removing blackheads and whiteheads. It did a good job of removing hardened sebum. While I couldn't visually confirm other sebum removal, it seemed to dissolve it well. As you massage, you can feel little granules rolling under your fingers.

  Cons

  Long Cleansing Time: It takes quite a while for the sebum to form into granules under your fingers. The instructions say to massage for less than a minute, but if you only do that, you might end up with blemishes from sebum that was about to come out. As a result, the massage time gets longer, which can irritate the skin. Too Runny: While it emulsifies quickly, the product is inherently very fluid. So when it emulsifies, the oil runs down your arms and wets the bathroom floor. Drying: As light as it feels, the finish is also light. Those with dry skin might feel deep dryness after cleansing.

  Tip

  If you massage while showering when your pores are open, you can really feel the sebum forming into granules under your fingers.
