  Pros

  It's incredibly refreshing! Compared to other toners, this one gives a much stronger cleansing sensation when wiping, and it's so convenient to use. My nose and surrounding areas used to feel oily shortly after cleansing, but with this product, I stay shine-free for half a day!

  Cons

  The alcohol scent might be too much for those sensitive to fragrances. It has a strong smell. It became difficult to use when there was little left in the bottle. The convenience factor seemed to decrease over time.

  Tip

  I'm not sure if it's because I have a larger face, but I find that spraying it three times on a cotton pad to clean my cheeks and nose, once for my forehead, and once more for under my chin leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed.

  Pros

  I lived in Southeast Asia for 3 years, and my sebum production went through the roof! But this toner is truly the best for controlling excess oil. It's perfect for my extremely oily skin (acne-prone, with oil that breaks through powder makeup, ugh). Even when I try other products, I always come back to this one.

  Cons

  When I first used it, there was a slight alcohol scent. For some reason, it stung my eyes a bit, but I've gotten used to it now and it's fine. However, if you don't have extremely oily skin, this might be too drying as it's very effective at controlling sebum. I use it even in winter without issues, but it might be too much for others.

  Tip

  After cleansing, I use this exfoliating toner at least twice. It's the first step in helping to control excess oil.

  Pros

  The Hwahae Testers Review My skin type is extremely oily in the T-zone and U-zone, while my cheeks are extremely dry! Pros: 1. Even though it's summer and there seems to be a lot of sebum left in my pores after cleansing, this product seems to help remove sebum more effectively! 2. Large size! 3. The packaging is so convenient~ It's a pump dispenser, so you can just pump it onto a cotton pad and use it. No spills and very easy to use.

  Cons

  1. I was surprised by how strong the alcohol scent was... 2. Maybe because I have sensitive skin, I developed about 4 blemishes while using it... (individual results may vary~) 3. Don't expect this to reduce sebum production or make oily skin less shiny! Unfortunately, oil still comes through quite a bit...

  Here's a review from The Hwahae Testers! First off, the amount you get is absolutely massive. It's so much that you might not even be able to use it all before it expires. It's perfect for sharing with family. I especially have oily areas around my nose, and when I wipe with this toner, I immediately feel the oiliness disappear. However, I don't think I'll be able to use it in winter. One unique feature is the container design - you press a cotton pad on top, and the toner comes out! It's convenient, but one pump isn't enough, and two pumps make it overflow, so controlling the amount is tricky.

  Cons

  I was shocked when I first saw the ingredients, and sure enough... On the first day of use, a few blemishes popped up. I waited for them to subside before trying again, but they came back even bigger. And this is coming from someone who thought they had resilient skin! Those with super sensitive skin should probably avoid this. Also, the scent has an overpowering alcohol smell, which I personally didn't like.

  Tip

  I wouldn't recommend using this to control oil. You're better off using a powder instead.

  1. Pore refinement, sebum control, and dead skin cell removal As it removes sebum and dead skin cells, I noticed my pores becoming more refined and my skin smoother. This aspect was particularly impressive. I especially saw its effectiveness on the nose area. I'd love to share photos, but I'm too shy to post them! 2. Hygienic I appreciate that it's easy to use and maintain hygienically, as you pump the product onto a cotton pad. 3. Large size I plan to continue using this product after testing, and the large size makes it even more appealing.

  Cons

  1. Ingredients and scent The ingredients are the main drawback. With the current weather making skin more sensitive, I think the product's ingredients might have had an impact too. When I wiped away sebum with a cotton pad, my skin became slightly reddish. Also, these types of pore products usually have a slight alcohol scent. It might be fine if you're using just a small amount on specific areas, but I think this aspect could vary from person to person.

  Tip

  This product is designed for very oily skin, so it should work well for those with oily skin types. I have combination skin, so I only used it on specific areas. Before using this product, I recommend softening the sebum first. I noticed the effectiveness decreased significantly when used just for wiping without this pre-step. Also, when my skin becomes super sensitive, I switch to gentler skincare products. It's best to regularly check your skin's condition and adjust your skincare accordingly.

  Skin type: Oily, with skin tough as nails that rarely gets blemishes no matter what cosmetics I use. Keep that in mind! The price is incredibly reasonable for the amount you get. I was shocked by how much product comes in the 500ml bottle - it's a lot! The pump dispenser makes it super convenient to use as an exfoliating toner. Although it's marketed for extremely oily skin, I found it suitable even though my skin isn't excessively oily. When applying, you feel a pleasant cooling effect that's quite refreshing. It's amazing at removing excess oil. After use, my skin feels fresh and velvety smooth without any tightness or dryness.

  Cons

  I was stunned when I checked the ingredients. I loved the blue product so much that I assumed this one would be great too, but it turns out there are so many potentially problematic ingredients. While I haven't used it much yet and haven't experienced any blemishes or issues, I'm disappointed that a basic skincare product doesn't have better ingredients. The high alcohol content means I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin. Be careful using it around your eyes as it might cause stinging, and the scent is just straight-up alcohol.

  For those who pay close attention to ingredients, I'd recommend going for the blue version instead of this one.

  Hello, this is a Hwahae Tester here. My package arrived today, and I'll be trying it out this evening. I'll make sure to update you with my review afterwards. I'm excited, but a bit apprehensive given some of the negative reviews I've seen. Still, since my skin's been quite oily lately, I'm willing to give it a shot. I'll be updating and refining my review as I go, so please check back later even if you've already read this! + Day 1: I used it with a cotton pad to wipe my face and also did a mask on my cheeks. So far, no blemishes have appeared, and I've noticed a decrease in oiliness. The scent is quite nice, especially for male users. I really appreciate the pump dispenser - it makes it so convenient to apply the toner to a cotton pad. Today's rating: 4 stars + Day 2: Hmm... A small pimple appeared on my forehead, but I don't think it's because of this product. Everything else still seems fine. I haven't encountered the drawbacks mentioned in previous reviews, and I don't have any strong feelings about it being particularly good or bad. Today's rating: 3.5 stars + Day 3: I skipped a day and used it again today. Still no new blemishes. I'm starting to think this product might be a good fit for my skin. The large volume is great - I can soak cotton pads generously for mask-like application. I'm quite pleased! Today's rating: 3.8 stars +++ Overall Assessment +++ The large volume and pump dispenser are definite pluses. As a cleansing toner, it seems to work well for oily skin types.   It's excellent at controlling oiliness. I tried it when my skin was an oil slick after waking up, and the excess sebum just vanished!

  The alcohol scent is overwhelming. It smells similar to the alcohol swabs I use to clean my earrings. The fumes irritate my eyes, causing a stinging sensation. I haven't been using it for long, so I haven't noticed any blemishes on my face yet.
