I tried this product because it was recommended for acne, and I've noticed gradual improvements The product doesn't lather well, so I'm a bit concerned about its cleansing effectiveness - jk*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2020
This product had a gentle, slightly acidic formula that helped calm my excess sebum. While it didn't lather much and left a slight slippery feeling after rinsing, I actually preferred that it didn't leave my skin feeling squeaky clean. The bottle size is quite small, and unfortunately it's not included in sale promotions. Sadly, it's been discontinued. - ph*******Combination SkinAcne SkinAug 31, 2019
This cleanser feels incredibly gentle! It's a super lightweight gel formula that's perfect for everyday use. I highly recommend it for those who don't wear much makeup or for morning cleansing routines. It's so light, it's like a breath of fresh air for your skin! The lather is minimal and the cleansing effectiveness is quite weak. Unfortunately, it might be a bit irritating for those with sensitive skin. If you have super sensitive skin, you might want to consider other options. - tm**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessAug 23, 2019
I received this product as a sample along with the broccoli toner from the same line when purchasing other items. Since gel cleansers are generally milder than foam cleansers, I used this product for my morning cleanse. The cooling effect was particularly beneficial for me, as I tend to experience severe redness. It provided a refreshing and invigorating cleansing sensation with a slight cooling effect. Honestly, I wouldn't want to spend money on this product. Firstly, the fragrance is really off-putting. It has an overpowering and harsh scent, reminiscent of the aftershaves my father uses, which made it uncomfortable to use. Secondly, it irritates the eyes. Even when I cleansed carefully, my eyes would sting, forcing me to rinse quickly. It's surprisingly potent - if it gets into your eyes, you'll find yourself struggling to rinse it out while tears stream down your face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 9, 2019
At first, I didn't think it worked as a cleanser because my skin felt slippery after washing. I stopped using it for a while, but when I tried it again occasionally and followed up with a foam cleanser, my makeup applied beautifully the next day. That's when I realized this product works as an exfoliator for dead skin cells. Yesterday, I went to the store intending to buy it and mentioned it was for exfoliation, but they couldn't find it. It doesn't seem to be available in online stores either. It's a good product, but the 'cleanser' label might disappoint users. I hope it doesn't get discontinued. Remember it's a cleanser, but use it as an exfoliator and follow up with a foam cleanser. - qw********Combination SkinAcne SkinMay 11, 2019
The ingredients are listed as gentle without any harsh components After using this, my skin became red, tingling, and I experienced dead skin cells peeling off as if my skin was shedding (I stopped using it after reading reviews on Hwahae from others who had similar symptoms) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2019
It worked well for my combination skin, helping to control sebum and was fine even for blemishes It's a shame that it's been discontinued now. It might be a bit drying in winter - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2019
I've always struggled with facial tightness when using foamy cleansers, so I was on the hunt for a less foamy option. A friend recommended this one, and I'm so glad they did! Even after rinsing, my skin feels comfortable without any deep dryness. Unfortunately, many users reported discoloration issues with this product, leading to its discontinuation. While I personally never experienced any problems and used it successfully, I'm disappointed it's no longer available. Most cleansers now come in bar form or as solid soaps, which can be tricky to maintain and soften easily. I'm really hoping they'll quickly reformulate and relaunch this gel cleanser soon. - bb******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 27, 2018
When my skin breaks out with blemishes, cleansing with this product immediately calms it down. I've repurchased it several times because it works wonders for me! Being a gel cleanser, it doesn't lather up. You might wonder if it's actually cleansing, but seeing how it soothes the skin, I guess it's doing its job well. Instead of rinsing it off right away, I like to massage it a bit longer on areas with blemishes, almost like a mask. When I rinse it off, even the most inflamed spots are noticeably calmed. It's absolutely fantastic! - je******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2018
I've been using this since it was first released, right up until it was discontinued. When I switch to other foam cleansers, I get small bumps, but when I go back to this one, they all disappear... It must have suited me well. The cleansing effectiveness was good, and everything about it was great, so why discontinue it? When I heard the news about its discontinuation, I called all the nearby Innisfree stores and bought up all their remaining stock. I've kept it as an emergency backup until I can settle on another foam cleanser, but I'm still anxious as I haven't found a replacement yet. If anyone who liked this has found a good alternative, please recommend it! The blueberry one feels somewhat lacking though... Discontinued... How could they discontinue this?! If you're going to discontinue it, at least share the formula! Since this was discontinued, my skin blemishes have been no joke... Why did they discontinue it?????
