Even when I squeeze it out and apply it on him, it works well. We're currently using our second bottle after repurchasing. I can't really think of any downsides to this product. It's not sticky at all. As someone with oily skin, this is the only product I've been truly satisfied with. I can't think of any downsides to mention. I'm completely satisfied.
