  Pros

  Feels refreshingly moisturizing without any stickiness. Compared to the original, the initial scent is reminiscent of a cool, inexpensive soap I used in the US, followed by a strong camphor scent, though milder than the original. When you're feeling lazy, just apply toner and slather this on generously - no tightness at all. It's my holy grail cream that doesn't cause blemishes even with reapplication. I want to use it for life! It improved my oil and moisture balance, resolving the bumpy texture around my mouth that I used to get constantly. It also helped with deep dryness. (Of course, this is just my personal experience - your mileage may vary.) Highly recommended!

  The scent might not be for everyone. Other than that, I can't find any downsides.

  Tip

  I strongly recommend buying the large size to use as an all-in-one cream. It's a one-stop solution for face and body!

  Ingrams Camphor Cream - Herbal Goodness! A South African skincare staple with 80 years of heritage! Featuring naturally-derived 'Camphor' from camphor tree extract. I bought this after hearing it's great for sensitive skin and eczema-prone skin. After cleansing and applying, I noticed the unique scent. It seems strong at first, but it's oddly appealing. The more I smell it, the more I love it! It's a cooling cream that can be used even in summer, so it has a refreshing feel... It takes a bit of massaging to absorb, but once it's fully applied, it absorbs like magic - I absolutely love it! Why didn't I buy this sooner? If I had, I could've gotten the 300ml size! Anyway, if you have sensitive skin that's dry, itchy, and prone to cracking, give this a try.   I received this as a gift from someone who visited Africa, and they said it was a famous product, so I gave it a try. The scent is like a mix of laundry soap and a mild herbal fragrance. At first, the application felt a bit unusual, like it was gliding over the skin rather than absorbing, but it actually absorbs quite quickly. Now that I'm used to it, I'm happily patting it on regularly. It seems to be used as a soothing and hydrating cream. Initially, I tried using it as a final step or on its own, but for my very dry skin, using it alone made my skin feel tight. It might work better for oily skin types. So now, I apply this product and finish with an emulsion. I especially like using it when my skin feels irritated or red, as it has a calming effect.

  Cons

  Dryness. I'm not sure if there's anything particularly great about it. It's more so-so than what I expected.
