Traditional Korean medicine scent.
This is the strongest traditional Korean medicine scent I've ever encountered in a cosmetic product! It's exactly like the smell in a traditional Korean medicine clinic or health food store. 
The scent isn't unpleasant, but it's quite distinctive, so there will likely be some people who like it and some who don't. I'm okay with it, but I don't particularly want to choose to use a product with this scent.

Extremely low lather.
Without using a washcloth or loofah, just washing with my hands, the lather is incredibly minimal. Even squeezing out a ton of product, the lather is still barely there.
This makes the soap feel thick and sticky, requiring more effort to thoroughly wash off, leaving me feeling exhausted after showering.

210ml volume is too little.
Assuming I use it alone and shower once a day, it will likely be used up in less than a month.
It's possible it could be used up in 2-3 weeks.

This is a skin type with a weakened skin barrier, especially on the dry areas.

The cleansing power is good. 
I felt that impurities were effectively washed away.

It cleanses smoothly and thoroughly without any stickiness or tightness.
Since the skin barrier is weakened in dry areas, using the wrong cleanser that strips away moisture can cause itchiness, but this one doesn't have that issue at all.



In fact, this is a bit of a downside for me, but since it seems to just wash away impurities without taking away moisture, it functions excellently as a wash, so I can't help but be satisfied with it.
I'll probably think about repurchasing it a couple of times before deciding.

Hoarding it is definitely a pro tip!! There are lots of reviews on the homepage and social media, but not many on Hwahae... I hope this product gets more popular so they can bring out more great products 🙌🏻

The bottle is thin and tall, so it tends to tip over and spill around the time I finish it. That's why I've been decanting it into another container to use... I wish they would come out with a larger pump bottle version.

1. Fragrance
It's really great! I love the herbal scent at the high-end spa. It's similar to the smell of Ssanghwa-tang, but much more sophisticated. The longevity isn't very long, but the fragrance makes me feel good during the wash :)

2. Moisturization
Even in the middle of summer, I have to apply body lotion as I have dry skin. This product also has good moisturizing power, but I still need to apply body lotion. However, I don't feel completely dried out after washing. Drugstore body washes make me feel dry right after rinsing, but this one is much more moisturizing. And they say it's good for exfoliating, but since I already use body lotion regularly, I don't have much dead skin buildup. Still, my skin feels smooth and glowy when I rinse it off!

3. Cleansing and Rinsing
A small amount creates plenty of lather. I was skeptical at first, thinking it used surfactants, but there don't seem to be any concerning ingredients. And the rinsing is really good! Normally, body washes for dry skin leave a slippery residue after washing, but this one rinses off cleanly. It doesn't feel squeaky clean, but rather comfortably moisturized. It's not slippery either. This is the most satisfying part for me :)

4. Price
Honestly, the price isn't extremely cheap considering the volume, but I'm quite satisfied, so I think it's reasonable! I'm on my 5th bottle and I usually buy it from *Pang. (The Tamarind scent is around 10,000 won, but the other scents can be found for less than 10,000 won) Last time, they had a 2+1 event on their social media, so I stocked up right away :)
