First off, the strong fragrance makes it unsuitable for those sensitive to scents. It's hard to justify the price given its effectiveness and lack of standout features. While it absorbs decently, there are plenty of other products that absorb even better.

The cream has a viscous texture but isn't overly thick. As expected from a high-end product, it absorbs well on the skin.
