La Mer lives up to its prestigious name. You won't be embarrassed to take out this cushion. It's beautifully designed, and they even thoughtfully include a leather case. 2. It feels incredibly hydrating upon initial application. I'm a beige warm tone, typically a 21 in Korean shades, but using Rosy Ivory gives a brightening effect that's one shade lighter. Rather than creating an artificial glow like trendy illuminating cushions, it gives a transparent, clear complexion. The skin looks naturally radiant. There's no darkening even as time passes. 3. It has a pleasant, subtle fragrance.
Cons1. While it feels moisturizing when applied, it seems to be a rather dry cushion. For combination dehydrated skin, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells. A solid skincare routine is necessary beforehand. 2. I'm speechless about the 10 concerning ingredients... Is this really La Mer? It contains PEGs, phenoxyethanol, and fragrances. Those with super sensitive skin must be extremely cautious. Honestly, at this price point with these ingredients, I'd rather use something else. The formulation feels lacklustre. 3. The coverage is mediocre, perhaps medium to high at best. 4. The longevity is disappointing. As a glasses wearer, I notice it breaking down on my nose bridge and sides after just 1-2 hours. The way it wears off isn't particularly flattering either. 5. Although a refill is included, the price is still extremely burdensome.
TipIf La Mer works wonders for your skin, then by all means, go for this. But if that's not the case, you're better off buying three cushions that suit you better for the same price.
