I bought this after hearing a YouTuber say it really tackles deep dryness. The scent is nice and subtle. I liked that it wasn't overpowering or artificial. If you ask whether it really tackles deep dryness, I'd say it depends on the person. I appreciated that this Cheongmijung is gentle and non-irritating, but rather than feeling like it strongly combats deep dryness, I'd say it's quite hydrating to this extent. It seems suitable for those with super sensitive skin due to its gentleness. However, for someone like me with combination dehydrated skin prone to oil buildup, it might be less ideal. It appears perfect for those with deep dryness and normal oil production. - si*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2025
It absorbs well and makes my skin feel firm. That's not a bad thing at all. My skin gets itchy and there's a tingling sensation. I was fooled by all the hype and bought it. - km********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 21, 2025
This toner seems perfect for those with deep dryness and dry skin types. It's incredibly hydrating and I can really feel the improvement in my complexion. I honestly can't find any flaws with this toner. It's so wonderfully hydrating! - mo********Combination SkinRecommendedNov 5, 2024
It feels like it helps with deep dryness, and the squeeze bottle is convenient to use. Those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy. - do******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 19, 2024
The ingredients are great... I highly recommend it for this level of hydration at this price point. Above all, I'm satisfied that it's not sold with heavy discounts at places like Olive Young, so it's less burdensome to buy anytime. I love you, Cheongmijung! While there are many issues about the scent, I personally love the natural fragrance - se********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2024
I trust this product because of its great ingredients. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin, and the glass bottle makes it feel beneficial for both the environment and our bodies. While I have no complaints about the toner itself, I wish Chungmijung would release an emulsion and cream that are moisturizing enough for dry skin. Overall, their basic skincare line feels a bit drying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 10, 2023
It seems gentle, which is great. Among all the toners I've tried, this one feels the most mild and soothing. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It seems to have only positive aspects. - 2d********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2023
It's moisturizing and has a cooling effect when kept in the fridge. Even though I have super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any irritation at all. I can't think of any particular drawbacks. I love how gentle it is and how it helps combat deep dryness! It's a bit on the pricier side and rarely goes on sale. I'm on my fourth bottle now, and that's really the only downside I can think of. - db*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2023
I'm writing this review as I'm nearing the end of my bottle... My skin type is atopic and combination dehydrated. Due to my atopic condition, I prioritize ingredients, and I appreciated that this toner has zero out of 20 caution ingredients and no potential allergens. The texture is a mix between water and gel, so it absorbs well and has a nice application feel. Thanks to the aloe ingredient, I've never experienced any blemishes or redness on my skin. The hydration level varied with the seasons. It was great to use when the weather started cooling down, as the oil balance was just right (I didn't use it in summer though). Maybe it's because of my combination dehydrated skin, but in summer, it made my skin quite oily, so I barely used it. In winter, if I only apply this toner, my face feels tight and dry, so I absolutely need to follow up with a moisturizer! (Even if I apply it generously multiple times, the tightness and dryness feel about the same.)
