I received it as a gift and have been using it. It seems to be a good, versatile option for me to use. My skin is oily, but I often have severe inner dryness. During the fall, winter, and transitional seasons, my skin tends to get very dry. It works well for me to just apply it during those times. Moreover, the texture is not sticky at all, and the finish is powdery, which I like! Looking at the Hwahae ingredients, there are some allergens and ingredients that may not be good for oily skin, but when I used it, I didn't have any breakouts and it was fine.

It has a nice glide and is moisturizing. It's not sticky, so it doesn't make your feet slippery when applied.

Above all, it's nice and gently radiant, with a bit of a glow to the skin. The moisture and oil balance is good - it's not sticky and the texture is refreshing. It's like when you apply a primer. My husband also hates the sticky and heavy feeling, so I applied it once and he keeps using it. It's expensive, but since we're both using it, it goes away quickly.

Pros
Excluding the T-zone, as my skin is normal to dry, the gel type feels too drying for me to use. The spreadability, absorption, and lack of stickiness are excellent. I don't feel any dryness, and my skin feels comfortable. As a result, the next layer of makeup applies smoothly without any issues. My skin doesn't feel dry or cracked.
Cons
However, it doesn't make my skin look overly shiny or glossy. And the price is ugh...

If you have dry skin and use this as your sole skincare routine in the winter, your skin's moisture and oil balance will likely be severely disrupted. That's what happened to my skin. It started with severe tightness and ended up completely dehydrated, with breakouts. I've been using a proper basic skincare routine for over a week now, but I'm not sure this product is doing anything good. It feels like it's just a thin, lacking buffer on the skin surface. When I first applied it, I was surprised by the strong silicone-like fragrance. I have no intention of repurchasing this.

I bought the edition that includes a 30ml cleansing gel and a sheet mask, but the smoothing cream's lid is fixed to the packaging box with that ubiquitous semi-transparent adhesive. The adhesive is quite stuck to the lid and has a soft, pliable texture, so it doesn't come off easily. I've had to carefully cut it off and just use the product. Every time I open the lid, my hands get uncomfortably sticky from touching the adhesive. I don't understand why there would be adhesive touching the skincare product's surface, even if it's just the exterior.
