  Pros

  I bought this because it's a vegan mascara. Love that it's not tested on animals! It applies naturally, and you can adjust from a clean to voluminous look by layering. The color is a natural black, not too intense, which I like. It's easy to remove during cleansing without losing eyelashes, which is convenient. I bought it without high expectations, but I'm more satisfied than I thought I'd be.

  Cons

  There's some typical flaking throughout the day. It's not too bad, but touch-ups are necessary. It's not very resistant to sweat and oil. It doesn't give dramatic volume or hold a curl firmly in one coat, but you can build it up. The brush is thick and large, so it can get messy around the eyes when applying. A bit disappointed it contains talc. After use, it gets a bit messy around the tube opening, but I'll need to use it more to be sure.

  Tip

  For better curl retention, use an eyelash curler after applying the mascara.
