I applied it and felt a refreshing sensation. My complexion has noticeably brightened! It's disappointing that it dries out immediately after application. The hydration evaporates within 30 seconds, so it doesn't even feel like I've applied anything. - tn*************Oily SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2018
For those with oily skin, it's great because it leaves a really clean finish. It also has a high cooling effect, making it perfect for people who tend to have warm faces. It's lighter and more refreshing than traditional aloe gels. Those with extremely dry skin might experience some dryness and tightness after use. I think it could work as a substitute for moisturizers that people with very oily skin are hesitant to use. Personally, I use it as a mask by applying it with a cotton pad. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2018
I've tried many soothing gels from Nature Republic to Fruits of the Earth, Aromatica, and even La Couverte for babies. Among those that aren't sticky, have good ingredients, and don't cause a burning sensation when applied, this one offers the best value for money. While other soothing gels are pretty similar, this one costs only 8,000 won! The brand might be a bit unfamiliar, but it's truly excellent. My mom gets anxious when it runs out... She even applies it to her hair! Anyway, when you use this before your skincare routine, your skin becomes super soft! It doesn't pill, isn't sticky, and cools the skin, making makeup application easier. The packaging is a bit inconvenient. It would be better if it came with a pump. Opening and closing the lid might allow more dust to get in. Also, it's only sold online, which reduces accessibility. After using a nose pack and during the pore-tightening step, it's amazing to soak a cotton pad with this and place it on your skin! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2018
I've tried various soothing gels, including a popular aloe vera one (can't remember the brand... oops!), but the A24 California Nature Skin Soothing Gel really stands out in my memory. Comparing textures, this one is more water-like than aloe. In fact, it goes from most gel-like to most water-like in this order: aloe < Larita < A24. What I love about this product is that it addresses the shortcomings of the other two. The aloe gel didn't absorb well, leaving a sticky residue (which some people might like, but I absolutely hate stickiness!). The A24 product, while non-sticky and with many benefits, has the major drawbacks of small quantity and a scary price tag. That's why I'm thrilled with the Larita Soothing Gel. At just 8000 won for a large quantity, it's a real bargain! Its absorption is fantastic. Apply it after a shower for a cooling sensation and hydration without any stickiness. The generous amount means you can use it on your body without worry too. I'm not sure if it's just mine, but when I opened the plastic packaging, there was a bit of moisture... It was surprising, but I'm still using it anyway. I like to slightly dampen a cotton pad and place it on the sides of my nose or forehead. It works great!
