This tint brings life to your face and makes you look a bit more radiant! Being a tint, it inevitably leads to some dead skin cells after extended wear. This tint looks gorgeous even when applied as a base. It's also great for gradient looks, and you can layer a redder shade on top for a stunning effect.

Its slightly curved shape makes it easy to apply to the inner lips, lip line, and center of the lips. The amount of product that clings to the tip isn't excessive. Just enough product comes out at the opening, so unless you're going for an extremely sheer application, there's no need to wipe off excess. I love that it dispenses just the right amount for a full lip application! Color Swatch on Palm: It's a slightly toned-down, milky red-pink. Unlike typical muted pinks that often have rosy undertones, this color feels like a vibrant red-pink that's been slightly muted and mixed with a touch of milkiness. As a result, the color payoff is surprisingly vivid and not dull at all. It's worth noting that this shade won't make your face look washed out like some muted tones can! Texture on Palm: The texture is truly... moisturizing yet powdery? While it has a velvety finish, compared to Peripera's other tint lines, this one applies with a softer, more powdery feel. The Airy Velvet has a more floaty, powder-like texture, while the Ink the Gelato feels smoother and adheres better to the skin than the Airy Velvet. This tint seems to fill in fine lines immediately, giving an even application! Tissue Test - Transfer: The most transfer happens on the first blot! It seems like the tint that's sitting on the surface of your lips comes off. But after the initial blot, the transfer reduces significantly. So unless you're going for a very sheer look, I highly recommend blotting at least once before wearing! These days, we often wear masks, so I don't apply lip products as much. But when I do go out to meet someone, I always make sure to blot at least once! This reduces transfer onto the mask and improves longevity and adherence. I miss the days when we didn't have to worry about masks and could apply as much lip product as we wanted! Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued now.
