The intense staining power makes it difficult to remove, and it can be a bit drying on the lips.

The color payoff is fantastic and it lasts so well! It's so good I'd wear it as my only lip product even for water activities. The pigmentation is also lovely.

As mentioned above, it's extremely drying on the lips.

Color: It's an incredibly vibrant, blue-toned cherry red. The blended edges give off a hot pink vibe. When applied to the lips, it surprisingly leans more towards hot pink than expected, but becomes redder with more layers. Cool summer tones could rock this as a gradient, while cool winter tones would look great with both gradient and full application.

Texture: It's an extremely dry, powdery formula that gives your lips a velvety, powder-like finish. Application is smooth and initially not too drying despite its powdery nature. However, as time passes, your lips gradually become drier. Exfoliation is an absolute must with this one!

Adherence: It adheres much better to the lips than it does to the hand, clinging tightly to your lips. This strong adherence might not feel the most comfortable, though.

Longevity: Given its excellent adherence and minimal transfer, the staying power is naturally impressive. It lasted well even after eating, and I've had days where it stayed on all day long.

Staining: For a lipstick, it stains almost as well as a tint. This enhances its already impressive longevity. The only downside is that the stain left behind is a vivid hot pink, different from the original color. This is likely due to the hot pink base in the red shade.

It really doesn't come off... If you make a mistake while applying, it's so hard to remove that you have to cover it with foundation.

As a tint, it truly doesn't come off, and the pink shade is versatile enough for both warm and cool tones, though it might suit cool complexions slightly better.

I can't think of any downsides, to be honest. I'm completely satisfied and using it with great pleasure.

For cool-toned people, the Scarlet, and for warm-toned people, the Tomato would be a good choice.

This is the 2nd Scarlet Red. Wow, this is really a must-have for cool-toned people. They say red is the least discriminating between warm and cool tones, but I think this is a red made for cool tones. These days, there are many interesting products in terms of color and texture, but on days when I want to dress up, this is the one I always go for. It adheres closely when applied, so you can't just swipe it on without a mirror. However, if you carefully set it up at home using cotton swabs, the initial look lasts until you eat, unless you have a meal. Before applying this product, you can pre-stain with a red water tint, which also works well for expanding the overlined lip area! I will definitely repurchase this.

The expiration date of about 1 year is a bit short for a lip product.
The coverage is too good, so it doesn't come off easily.
This could be an advantage, but for me, it's important to be able to remove the makeup thoroughly without having to rub the color off, so I don't think I'll be able to use it often.

The blending can be a bit tricky....................?! There are times when I feel it peels off slightly when removing it..! However, if you apply it with a layering technique, it seems to last longer.

I was looking for a vibrant color and this product has a vivid color and long-lasting wear. When I apply this and then layer another product on top, the longevity is really impressive!!!! I highly recommend this long-wearing lipstick if you're searching for one.
