ProsAs someone with very oily skin that doesn't suit heavy makeup, I've recently been able to go to work with just a simple powder touch-up, skipping foundation altogether as my skin has improved. This product meets all my needs perfectly:
1. It absorbs oil like blotting paper!
2. High coverage! It evenly conceals most light acne scars!
3. Incredibly convenient to carry! It's round, and when you finish it, you can just buy a refill to pop in, so there's no waste of money!
ConsDespite all these great points, there's one critical drawback... It can cake up if applied directly to oily skin. You absolutely must blot away excess oil with a tissue first, then apply the powder in small amounts. This means you need to be careful when touching up to maintain that smooth, egg-shell finish. Also, the puff hardens quickly due to oil, so you'll need to replace it often. I recommend buying puffs in bulk.
TipIf you've applied an oily sunscreen and it's created a film, gently remove some of the excess oil, then use the puff in circular motions to apply the powder. Lightly pat it in, and you'll achieve a pore-less, egg-shell finish! Personally, I find that using sweeping motions can make my dry patches flake due to dehydration.
