Many cleansers leave your skin feeling overly dry at the end, or even start to tighten your skin from the moment you begin washing. But Dear Klairs Foaming Cleanser is the gentlest I've ever experienced! Even after oil cleansing, when I use this as a second or third cleanse and massage it in for quite a while, my skin still feels comfortable. Plus, it comes out as a foam, so you don't need to create bubbles separately - super convenient! It seems perfect for morning cleansing or as a second/third cleanse in the evening. Sometimes it feels so gentle on the skin that you might wonder, 'Is this really cleansing effectively?' However, I've noticed that when I use it to remove cosmetics from my hands, it wipes everything away cleanly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 5, 2018
It's gentle and quite moisturizing (though it can feel a bit tight if you use too much). Considering the various ingredients, the price is very reasonable. It's great that it has a slight exfoliating effect, so you don't need a separate exfoliator - that's a win! The cleansing effectiveness is pretty good. There's not much to complain about, but it can sting if it gets in your eyes. Also, given the variety of ingredients, those with super sensitive skin should double-check the ingredient list. I usually apply sunscreen with a bit of BB cream. With this cleanser, I do one full pump, then use my ring finger to focus on rolling it around the sides of my nose and the hollow areas around my eyes for over 30 seconds. This removes everything without leaving any residue. Rather than searching for stronger cleansing agents, it's better for your skin to use a gentle cleanser thoroughly. In the morning, just a tiny pump on the T-zone is enough to wash away excess oil. You don't need to use much for your morning cleanse. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 16, 2017
I have a dry skin type and often have small pimples around my cheeks and chin. I was looking for products that are as gentle as possible on my skin, and that's how I came across Klairs. I've been trying out their products one by one, and they work really well for me, so now I'm using Klairs products for my entire skincare routine, from cleansing to my basic skincare line :) The first thing I really liked is that it's mildly acidic, so it doesn't irritate my skin at all. When I pump it, it comes out as a soft, creamy lather, and I can gently massage it over the areas with blemishes or large pores. It's great! I also really enjoy the refreshing scent of this product~ As others have mentioned, the price-to-volume ratio is a bit on the lower side ㅠㅠ.. Before I know it, the container is empty, sniff sniff But I'm planning to keep using it for the time being ㅎㅎ Also, those with oily skin or who wear heavy makeup might find the cleansing power a bit weak. For my evening cleansing routine, I first use a cleansing oil for the initial cleanse, and then follow up with this foaming cleanser to gently remove any remaining oil and residue. In the morning, I use just a small amount and find it leaves my skin feeling refreshed, not at all burdened, compared to just splashing with water. After cleansing, my skincare products also absorb really well~ - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2016
These days, double cleansing is essential, and the cleansing product you use daily should be the gentlest. So when choosing a cleanser, I really agonize over it... This cleanser can be used right away as a foaming formula just by pumping it, and it's also gentle on the face, making it great for double cleansing!! I used to use a natural cleanser, but it was difficult to remove cleansing oil, so I switched to this product completely. The product size is small, so I was honestly worried I wouldn't be able to use it for long. But it turns out it doesn't get used up very quickly, so from the second product onward, I've been pumping it generously without worry! Heavily made-up eyes (like smoky eyes) are difficult to wash off in one go. After cleansing with cleansing oil, you can dab some foaming cleanser on a cotton swab or pad and gently wipe around the eye area to clean it thoroughly. Since the product itself is gentle, you can apply it twice to the face without any irritation! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2015
My sensitive, oily skin with enlarged pores, blackheads, and whiteheads on my chin and jawline didn't improve much even after intense scrubbing. But after using this product, I saw dramatic results. When I cleanse with this, my pores open up and the blackheads come out easily. After gently pressing them out with a cotton swab, the redness subsided. The stubborn whiteheads disappeared, and the blackheads and enlarged pores have significantly reduced. My skin looks smoother and healthier. It's quite a dramatic improvement, yet it's still gentle. The amount seemed a bit too little. It's a foaming type, so the quantity is quite small and it gets used up quickly. It's not overly expensive, but a larger size would be better. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 20, 2014
I am very satisfied. Usually, mild acidic products are difficult to create a rich lather, but this one comes out as bubbles and the foam is abundant and easy to use. It's gentle and doesn't cause any trouble or irritation. Personally, I feel it cleanses a bit better than other mild acidic products. Since it's a mild acidic product, it may not be suitable for those who want a really squeaky clean feeling. Also, depending on how you use it, the amount may feel a bit small.
