Pros
The hinoki scent is truly subtle and keeps wafting around. I absolutely love this hinoki fragrance. If you're a fan of cypress wood scents, I think you'll adore this.
Cons
Apart from the price-to-volume ratio, I can't really think of any particular downsides.
Tip
It has a rich texture that's more suitable for winter than summer. The hinoki scent also seems to fit autumn and winter better than summer.

Pros
1. The scent is absolutely incredible... So this is what hinoki fragrance is like! I've discovered I love this kind of scent! It's fascinating because it reminds me of the pomade my boyfriend uses - and lo and behold, the product is called 'Hand Pomade'! 2. It has a thick, buttery texture, but absorbs quickly once applied. There's no greasy residue left on the back of your hands; instead, it feels refreshingly light! If you dislike that slippery feeling some hand creams leave behind, I highly recommend this one.
Cons
The price... it's so expensive! I received it as a gift and I'm using it well, but I'm not sure if I can justify buying it with my own money... Apart from the price, it's perfect.

Pros
If you're a fan of woody or aromatic scents, I absolutely recommend this. It's a unisex fragrance that both women and men will love. While it starts off subtle, the lingering scent is fantastic - I've received many compliments on how good it smells. The opening and base notes are quite different, but I love both, so I'm very satisfied. The texture is rich and creamy, it absorbs well, and isn't sticky, making it a product I reach for often. Being a unique item, it would also make an excellent gift.
Cons
The price is intimidating considering the volume... It's a product that's hard to justify buying with your own money. Definitely something you'd be thrilled to receive as a gift though!
Tip
Apply it to your hands, and use the small amount left to smooth over your hair. This way, the fragrance will last longer all over your body.

As a wood scent enthusiast, I can say this hand cream truly captures the essence of cypress and hinoki. The texture absorbs well, leaving hands moisturized for hours. It's my holy grail hand cream, surpassing Tamburins, Byredo, and Aesop by far.

These days, hand creams are more popular than perfumes, so I decided to try Le Labo's product. The scent is reminiscent of what you'd smell in a department store's perfume section. It's like they've squeezed the essence out of trees to create this classic woody fragrance, which I absolutely adore. I'm completely satisfied as I've always been a fan of woody scents. The texture is rich and creamy. I used to use Aesop's hand cream, which was quite runny like paint, but this one has a thicker consistency. It doesn't leave residue on the cap, which is great. The scent longevity is truly unmatched among all the hand creams I've tried. It lasts incredibly long - I'd give it a million stars! It's worth every penny, honestly.
Cons
The moisturizing power is somewhat disappointing. It feels like a 70% oil to 30% hydration ratio. As someone who prefers a more hydrating feel for that truly moisturized sensation, I noticed a slight dryness and lack of smoothness upon application.

Texture - It's like a rich cream but applies incredibly smoothly. Absorption - It absorbs quickly, but the hydration is weak, leading to dryness soon after. Not sticky at all. Scent - As it's Le Labo, the fragrance is everything... My cream has a basil scent, a fresh herbal aroma. It's a neutral, plant-based scent that I really like. Packaging - I appreciate its simplicity.
Cons
The hydration is lacking... I wouldn't recommend it for someone who needs to apply hand cream frequently. The scent is so strong it can be overwhelming. The intense fragrance makes it impossible to wear perfume.

The hinoki cypress scent is incredible! Once I finish this, I'll definitely buy the body emulsion. I want to slather this fragrance all over my body. It's perfect for winter. The texture isn't slippery and absorbs well into the skin.
Cons
The scent might be polarizing. Some say it smells like a sauna... You'll know for sure once you try it.

Pros
This cream really lasts a long time. It's a very rich formula, and since you only need a small amount about the size of a dime for the scent to be sufficient, I've been using it for over half a year. The tube packaging makes it convenient to carry around. The fragrance has a strong forest aroma. Personally, I love woody and unisex scents, so this really appealed to me.
Cons
The hydration is lacking. It's better to apply a separate hand emulsion for moisture.
Tip
For best results, try mixing it with an unscented emulsion.
