The color is beautiful and I love that it doesn't go on too intensely.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's just a decent, run-of-the-mill blush.

While I've purchased many base makeup products from Laura Mercier before, this was my first time trying their blush. Now I understand why everyone raves about 'ginger, ginger'. It absorbs incredibly smoothly and is never excessive. I initially thought it might look too dark, but the color payoff is beautifully natural - it's absolutely perfect. My unskilled hands can't do it justice in photos!
ConsThe only minor disappointment is that it doesn't come with a brush, so you need to find one separately.
TipNot only is it great as a blush, but it's also excellent for creating depth in eye makeup. I complete my eye look using just this and eyeliner. It saves time, and the color payoff is so beautiful that it's sufficient on its own without needing to combine it with other products.

The color payoff isn't faint or light, yet it's not heavy or cakey either, so it looks beautiful even when layered. This ginger shade, in particular, has such a sophisticated vibe that it's perfect for fall and winter.
ConsHonestly, you won't regret the price at all. Just buy it regardless of your skin tone.
TipSince the color itself isn't heavy, I found it looks lovely when applied under the eyes for a subtle rosy effect!

My skin tends to be a bit yellowish, so when I applied blush before, it either looked too floaty or turned me into a burning sweet potato. But then I accidentally tried my friend's 'Ginger' blush, and my photos looked amazing all day! I immediately bought it for myself. When applied heavily, it gives more of a bronzed effect rather than the burning sweet potato look. With a light application, it blends so naturally with any skin tone, creating a subtle, beautiful effect. At first glance, the blush color might seem intimidating for cool-toned gals, but surprisingly, it works well for cool summers, warm autumns, and even deep undertones. It's quite versatile! (This is when applied lightly, of course!) For blush nomads like me, I highly recommend taking the plunge with Ginger. Even a thin, light application can make a noticeable difference. It's suitable for all skin tones, from dark to fair, regardless of your personal color palette. Plus, it's easy to control the intensity. The texture is fantastic too - it goes on with a soft, velvety finish!
ConsI've been using it for a month now and haven't found any downsides yet. If I had to nitpick... maybe the price? I suppose that's the brand value speaking, unfortunately.
TipI heard at the store that applying loose powder before the blush can help achieve a more natural look. The powder brush seems quite important - I'd avoid brushes that are too dense or apply color too intensely.
