This was my first time trying a powder cleanser, and it felt fresh and innovative. The individual packaging makes it perfect for travel. Just add a bit of water, rub it between your hands, and it quickly creates a rich, creamy lather. The abundant foam allows for gentle cleansing without irritating your skin. While it's more suitable as a second-step cleanser for heavy makeup, it's great for those who prefer fragrance-free products like myself. Looking at the ingredients, I noticed it contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. While it's an effective cleansing agent, it's best to rinse it off quickly rather than using it as a mask. Also, the Titanium Dioxide in this cleanser is simply a white powder with no real benefits for your skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2025
Skin type: Sensitive/Combination Usage experience and effects: The fine particles dissolve quickly in water, and foam is generated rapidly. When used as a second cleanse after cleansing water, it felt like it effectively removed impurities from pores without causing irritation. Following the brand's recommendation, I tried using it as a mask once or twice a week. I mixed two scoops of powder with a small amount of water, applied it to my face for 3-5 minutes, then rinsed off. The results were impressive - my skin felt incredibly smooth and soft after cleansing. Overall assessment: Highly recommended for those seeking a gentle cleanser or for sensitive skin types looking for mild exfoliation without irritation. Room for improvement: The cleansing effectiveness might be somewhat weak when used as a standalone cleanser. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 27, 2025
As a man in his 30s with extremely dry and sensitive skin, I'm thrilled to share my experience with the Beta Glucan Enzyme Powder Wash. It's my first time using a powder cleanser, and I'm genuinely impressed! First off, I was surprised by how convenient it is. Just a small amount mixed with a bit of water creates a rich, creamy lather. The foam is incredibly soft and dense, making the cleansing process a real pleasure. What's truly remarkable is how it manages to be so gentle yet so effective at cleansing. Often, non-irritating products fall short in cleansing power, but this one removes impurities thoroughly without causing any skin tightness. With my extremely dry skin, I usually experience immediate tightness after washing, but this product left my skin feeling moisturized and comfortable. There was absolutely no sense of irritation during cleansing, making it perfect for my sensitive skin. Perhaps thanks to the beta glucan, my skin feels softer and healthier after use. I'm excited about the potential improvements in my skin's condition with long-term use. Overall, this product has it all - convenience, gentle application, excellent cleansing effectiveness, and hydration. I highly recommend it to those with extremely dry and sensitive skin. It's definitely becoming a staple in my skincare routine. The only downside is that there's some product waste when trying to use the powder with wet hands - it can get a bit messy. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 23, 2025
✓ Dead skin cell removal Works incredibly well No tight feeling after exfoliating! Instead, skin feels soft and smooth.. ✓ Cleansing effectiveness Thoroughly removes sunscreen and BB cream ✓ Lathers well ✓ Can choose between exfoliation or cleansing depending on concentration ✓ Great for use when: 1. Removing makeup and want to exfoliate at the same time 2. Traveling It's not so much that there are downsides, but rather that I can't think of any particular drawbacks.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2024
* Gentle cleansing At first, I thought the powder might be too coarse, but when I slightly dissolved it in water, it created a soft and rich lather. All the granules dissolve, so it's not irritating to the skin and cleanses gently, making for a pleasant experience. After cleansing, it leaves the skin feeling soft and fresh without the slippery residue often left by other gentle cleansers. It's great for combination dehydrated skin, perfect for morning cleansing or a light cleanse. I appreciated that it's fragrance-free, and there weren't any particular downsides to note. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 29, 2023
I used to use enzyme powder cleansers that claimed to cleanse and exfoliate, but Petit Fee was different. Unlike others where undissolved powder particles remained, causing irritation, Petit Fee's powder transforms into a rich, creamy lather. Even with cold water, it produced ample foam. What's more, it uses plant-based enzymes for exfoliation, not harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that can damage the skin. I had issues with blackheads, vertical pores, and uneven texture, but after using this, my skin looked brighter and my pores were visibly reduced. I experienced that squeaky-clean feeling after washing, which I hadn't felt in a long time. Usually, my skin feels tight while walking to my room, but with this, there was no tightness even until I applied toner. I genuinely noticed improvements in skin texture, pores, and blackheads - I felt the difference immediately after cleansing! My skin looked brighter, felt smooth, and my pores appeared smaller. Since cleansing is the foundation of skincare, I hope my experience helps others. The container design is a bit problematic. When washing your face with the water running, it's hard to tell if the lid is open or closed as there's no clear 'click' when opening or closing it. Also, when you try to dispense the product, too much often comes out at once. Use lukewarm water for cleansing, and finish with cold water. It leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth and refreshed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2023
Being an enzyme-based product, it's less harsh than chemical exfoliants. After use, my skin felt comfortable without any tingling or itching sensations. The foam forms quickly and easily, even without a cleansing brush. While there weren't any major drawbacks, as someone with dry skin, I find it's better suited for weekly exfoliation rather than daily use. This versatile product can be used on the scalp and body too, making it great for managing blemishes or excess sebum production. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 31, 2023
It produces a rich lather, and the tiny granules cleanse every nook and cranny of your pores. As it thoroughly cleans your pores, you can see your skin texture come to life. It's gentle on the skin, leaving no tightness while providing a thorough cleanse. A little goes a long way, so you only need a small amount. I didn't experience any particular drawbacks while using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2021
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I used to wake up every morning with oily skin and enlarged pores. But since I started using this powder wash, my pores have visibly reduced and it controls oil so well! I'm really impressed. The foam is rich and creamy, allowing for a gentle cleanse without irritation. It also exfoliates dead skin cells, so I don't need to use a separate peeling gel as often. Another great thing is that despite having super sensitive skin that usually feels tight after cleansing, this product's low pH seems to maintain my skin's moisture, leaving it hydrated. It's also great as a mask and comes in a generous amount. I'll definitely repurchase after I finish this bottle! There's not really anything negative to say, but... if you're looking for an intense deep cleanse, you might need to use this as a second cleanser. However, that's to be expected since low pH products aren't typically designed for deep cleansing, so I can't really fault it for that. I've also been using this powder to exfoliate my scalp. When I mix it with my shampoo, it helps control dandruff and removes dead skin cells from my scalp without causing itchiness. Oh, and occasionally I add it to my body wash too - it's great for tackling dead skin cells in body pores as well! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 6, 2019
As someone with sensitive skin that often feels tight after cleansing, I find the Petitfee Powder Wash leaves my face feeling refreshed without any tightness. It's my first time using a powder cleanser, and I think it's far superior to the gel types I've used before. Usually, I apply cleansers directly to my face rather than lathering, but with this powder wash, I create a rich foam first. This method is gentle and effectively removes excess oil. The powder dissolves easily in water, making it convenient to use. I'm so satisfied with both the price and quality of this product that I don't have any particular complaints. However, it's worth noting that this cleanser alone might not be sufficient for removing heavy makeup. Nevertheless, I always finish my cleansing routine with this product. It's hard to find another cleanser that's as gentle and leaves my skin feeling so hydrated afterwards. Although it's an enzyme cleanser, it can also be used as a mask. I always keep the powder wash and the included mask bowl in my bathroom, frequently using it as a quick mask treatment. Unlike other mask products that can be time-consuming, the Petitfee Powder Wash allows for a quick and easy mask session, which is why I use it so often.
