The design isn't bad either, overall it was pretty decent!
ConsThe scent is artificial and chemical-like. The transparent top of the lid shows how messy I am when using it, which makes me feel bad when I look at it. It clearly displays how untidy I am when using it, so I need to clean it well.

I used it while carrying it around in my dry office and during my trip to Shanghai. 1. Moisturizing without stickiness I'm not a fan of lip balms that are sticky or overly tacky. So when choosing lip balms, I tend to go for less sticky ones. The Total Hydration Moisture Tint was great because it wasn't sticky and was easy to apply. Usually, with other lip balms, I have to wipe them off before applying lipstick on top, which is inconvenient. With this product, I could easily swipe it on and layer lipstick or other products over it without any hassle. 2. Color While it definitely doesn't have the color payoff of a tint, it provides a subtle hue that prevents your face from looking pale when applied to bare skin. This made it convenient to carry around and apply even when I only had minimal base makeup on. I think it would be perfect for those who usually go bare-faced to carry around and apply without any burden. 3. Application It applies lightly and firmly, which is a standout feature. Other lip balms often smudge or get messy, but this product applies smoothly and lightly while still providing good hydration. I'd recommend this to anyone who, like me, prefers a light application and dislikes stickiness.
Cons1. Scent There's a medicinal or ointment-like smell. I believe lip balms should be either unscented or have a subtle, inoffensive fragrance... Those sensitive to scents might find this bothersome. 2. Dead skin cells While the initial application and moisturizing effect are fine, strangely, dead skin cells tend to surface after some time. I found myself having to exfoliate, reapply, and repeat. I realized I need to make sure to exfoliate well before using it... I hope this aspect can be improved! 3. Color longevity As it's closer to a lip balm than a tint, don't expect the color to last long. However, considering I use it primarily for hydration, I find the color satisfactory enough to overlook this issue.
TipIt's great for applying on bare skin and convenient to carry around. The subtle rose tint is pretty, not an overwhelming color! Feel free to carry it with you and apply as needed.

Ingredients: One of the most crucial aspects I look for. I was thrilled to see natural ingredients like sunflower seed oil and jojoba oil, which are great for sensitive skin. However, I wish they had gone the extra mile and removed fragrances to make it a zero-irritant product. 2. Color: When applied to the lips, it's not a Barbie pink that makes you look washed out. It's a beautiful shade even for warm-toned individuals. It's a pinkish-red with a slight red undertone. Looks pretty on bare lips and equally lovely over makeup. The color builds up nicely with multiple applications. (See photo 5: 1st row - 1 application, 2nd row - 3 applications) 3. Application: Tinted lip balms can often be difficult to apply or lack moisture, but this one glides on smoothly and feels hydrating. Considering the beautiful color and ease of application, it's probably the best value for money among lip balms. 4. Color longevity: Although it's a tinted lip balm, the color mostly disappears after eating and drinking, leaving only a slight tint after one wipe with a tissue. Don't expect long-lasting color. 5. Moisture retention: Unlike many colored lip balms that dry out quickly, this one keeps your lips hydrated for a long time. 6. Overall impression and repurchase intention: I'm giving it 5 stars because the application, moisture retention, and color are so impressive that they overshadow any minor drawbacks. The color, in particular, is neither too red nor too pink, making it perfect for daily use. I definitely plan to repurchase.
Cons1. Scent: Honestly, the scent is peculiar - it's not fruity, more like a medicinal smell. I think it would have been better if they had completely omitted the fragrance, making it a zero-irritant product with more appeal. I'm not sure why they included fragrance at all. 2. Packaging: Initially, I was confused when I opened the case and twisted it, as the lip balm didn't come out. It only emerged after continuous twisting. While it's working fine now and I'm enjoying using it, such issues with a purchased product can be quite frustrating.
TipWhile it's beautiful on its own, you could also use this tinted lip balm as a base and layer a lipstick over it for a stunning look!

But surprisingly, it left my lips feeling more hydrated for longer! Color Payoff ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honestly, I was a bit shocked when I swatched it on my wrist. The color payoff was impressive, living up to its 'tint' name. On the lips, it gives a sheer, balm-like finish that's charming in its own way, different from a lipstick. Shade ⭐⭐⭐ While the shade is slightly more vibrant than I expected, I'm still pretty satisfied. I was anticipating a more muted pink, but this azalea-like hue has a strong pink undertone without being overwhelming. It's a nice color! I'm curious to try other shades too. Dead Skin Cells ⭐⭐⭐ It performs better than other brands in terms of not clinging to dead skin cells! While some clinging is inevitable with this type of lip product, it's not noticeable enough to be a problem.
ConsDesign The shape is different from typical lip balms or lipsticks, with a concave top. It felt a bit awkward to use at first, making me question the necessity of this design. Although it eventually wears down to a more familiar shape, it still seems like an unnecessary design choice. Scent I'm not sure about the other shades, but this one has a scent reminiscent of old-fashioned lipsticks. It's not particularly appealing. I know it contains fragrance, but I can't quite place what it is...
TipPro tip: Apply a thin layer before your usual lip product for less dryness and more comfort! If you have severe dead skin, try exfoliating before application for a smoother look. Personally, I felt a slight plumping effect, which was nice! Update after 3 weeks of use: I'd like to revise my opinion on its effectiveness in smoothing dead skin cells. For me, it worked better when applied at night rather than during the day. I usually apply it generously before bed, and in the morning, I wake up to find a thin layer of dead skin has peeled off, leaving my lips smooth. As it's a tinted product, some might be hesitant to use it at night, but I didn't mind. From about two weeks of use until now, I've been enjoying it with almost no issues with dead skin cells.
