Pros
I originally only used cushion foundations, but this was my first time trying the Vivi. Compared to cushion foundations, it has much less caking. Even when applied thickly, it doesn't break down or look unnatural - it just seamlessly melts into the skin. The coverage is also great, making my skin look incredibly clean and flawless. I'd recommend this to anyone struggling with caking issues.
Cons
I usually wear shade 21, but this was slightly too dark for me. There was also some darkening.
Tip
After properly absorbing my skincare, I use a spatula to evenly apply it, and it coats the skin beautifully.

The formula spreads very thinly without any pores clogging. For those with thin skin and minimal uneven texture, you'll be satisfied with how it expresses the skin's texture. It creates a luminous complexion without being overbearing.

It may give a slightly ashy look, but it maintains a fairly bright complexion until the afternoon. Those with oily skin may not be the best fit.
Tip
In my case, I use the heat from my hands to apply it! Applying it like a lotion and then patting it in with a damp puff means it barely transfers to the mask. My skin also feels breathable and definitely more so than foundation until late in the day.

The coverage is great, and it's so moisturizing that it's perfect for someone like me with dry skin! (By the way, I apply a small amount of Vaseline around my nose before applying makeup.) And a little goes a long way in covering the entire face!
Cons
It's moisturizing, but also quite oily, so by my standards, it gets a bit dark in the afternoon, and there's a slight cakiness around the nose and eyes.

This product has brought me back after searching for other BB cushions and foundations multiple times. If you have dry skin and prefer a dewy finish, this is the one for you. It will never look cakey.

My skin type is dry and dehydrated. I need to use a matte foundation and BB cream, otherwise my skin looks very dull. I bought the Hanskin product 10 years ago based on a friend's recommendation, and I've been using it since then. The great thing about Hanskin seems to be its smooth application and adherence. The coverage is also quite good. However, it doesn't seem as good as the discontinued Caviar product I used 10 years ago.

It's on the drier side, so I couldn't even dream of using foundation, but I've settled on this BB cream after searching for years. It has good coverage, smooth application, and a nice semi-matte finish. As long as I have a solid base, the staying power lasts a long time.
Cons
The main issue I couldn't avoid was the ashy cast. I tried other BB creams to address this downside, but nothing else met my other needs.
Tip
Mixing in a small amount of dewy foundation with the BB cream worked well for me personally.
