After using this, my sebum production is definitely reduced.
ConsIt may be a bit irritating. And the smell is not great. It has a rubbery? smell mixed with a medicinal smell.

Even though I have dry skin, I kept getting blemishes on my forehead, but when I apply this, there's no tightness or dryness at all~ It wasn't a severe cystic blemish, just an inflamed and hardened one, and after applying it consistently for a few days, it calmed down~
ConsWhen I first applied it, I thought it smelled like tea tree, but after it absorbed, a perm-like smell kept lingering... Since my nose is so sensitive, the medicinal smell from my face was in my nose all day long..
TipThey say you have to use this only at night without sun exposure because of the ingredients~

ConsMy skin is combination, and areas like around my eyes seem a bit dry. So I apply a separate moisturizing cream. The scent is a bit... how should I put it, it's kind of like a burnt hair smell? The medicinal smell is quite strong.
TipI apply a separate moisturizing cream around my eyes and lips!

I happened to learn about this product and used it, and I could see the sebum plugs subsiding just after one day. I used it diligently every night for about 2 weeks, and the milia really improved a lot. Of course, scar improvement requires using other products. The next day, a slight glow started appearing on my forehead. The sebum gradually got under control, and after that, I continued using it once in a while before and after my period when my skin tends to go haywire.
ConsDryness! Contact dermatitis! Redness It's understandable since it contains AHA. The fragrance is quite strong, smelling a bit like ointment due to the sulfur. However, the sulfur scent is not overpowering and is tolerable. But strangely, after the milia were all cleared up, I started getting recurrent cystic breakouts. I've never had cystic acne, but these would keep swelling up from within and leave scars that wouldn't go away. So I had to stop using it and then restart, repeating this cycle.
TipModeration is key! Absolutely do not use this daily or in large amounts, or your skin will become overly sensitive and even harder to control. When contact dermatitis occurs, discontinue use and focus on hydration. There's no choice - you have to rebuild the skin barrier first before any cosmetics can be properly absorbed. When the barrier is compromised, even good products can be irritating. On days when I used a lot, my face would be red all day long. When my skin is really sensitive, I apply just a tiny amount of this lotion after layering on a hydrating serum. You'll learn the right amount for your skin through trial and error. I just squeeze out an amount the size of my fingernail, rub it in my palms, and lightly pat it onto my skin in a dotting motion. Just a light, sheer layer. And the accompanying white serum helps replenish moisture, so using them together is more effective. I use the serum liberally, day and night, because my skin gets so red and dull. So I end up using up the serum faster and just have the lotion left. The next day, you must absolutely rehydrate!!! Slather on a hydrating ampoule generously. If the dryness persists, the milia may even worsen, which is not good. For those with less sensitive skin, using it 2 times a week may also be effective.

At first, it didn't seem to have any effect, but after about a week of applying it, the millet-like bumps started to go in and some of them became incredibly tiny. It's really amazing... When you see it in person, it looks much better than in the photos 😭 Even my mom, who is more interested in my skin than I am, said that my skin has really improved a lot 😭😭😭😭😭 I did an extraction in December, and after that, they all went in, but then the scars and bumps started to come up again... It's too painful and I'm worried about scarring to get extraction done at the dermatologist again, so I did some self-extraction at home on the really bad ones. Luckily, there are no scars! Anyway 😭, it's not a perfect glass skin yet, but the millet-like bumps have really diminished, so I'll keep using it. And when I wake up and wash my face, it's so smooth and supple, just like after exfoliating 😆
ConsWhen I first used it, I failed to control the amount and it was too irritating on my face - it stung and turned red... I thought it didn't suit me. I think I should apply a thin layer at night before bed. And after washing my face, it feels drier than before - it really stretches... And it also has a kind of bleach-like smell 😭
TipI use this at night after washing my face, followed by a face mask (1 per day), and I apply a thin layer only on the areas with acne. Since this can be drying, be sure to properly hydrate your skin before applying and use only a small amount.
