The formulation was watery, which gave a good sense of moisture. When applied, there seemed to be a slight whitening effect immediately. It didn't feel heavy when applied and the moisture lasted for a long time. The absorption is not extremely good, but not bad either - it's faster than other products.

This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. First of all, I'm really glad you sent me 3 samples! I thought the ampoule would be watery, but it was more like a slightly runny cream. When I first applied it to the back of my hand, I could immediately see the brightening effect! Even though my skin is already on the fair side, I could definitely feel the brightening on my face as well. I'm not usually sensitive to scents, and the centella extract seems to agree with my skin, so I didn't experience any trouble. I shared it with the staff and they all said they felt the brightening effect too.
Cons
The scent is a bit like grass and pepper mixed together. Those sensitive to fragrance might not like it. Since it's not as watery as some ampoules, you do have to press the dropper down firmly to get the product out. That was a bit of a hassle. Those with extremely dry skin will probably need to layer a cream on top.

I've had the chance to try the Honest Ampoule 3-set, and I've been applying it diligently morning and evening.
