I can't say my dark circles have dramatically improved, but I'm just not using it at the moment. Still, it's not completely ineffective - my under-eye area did brighten a bit. If you have severe dark circles, you might want to look for something more potent. When applied to the aegyo-sal (under-eye puff) or eyelids, it can get into your eyes if you don't fall asleep right away. And when it does, it stings like crazy! I've heard that incorrectly applying eye cream can cause blemishes, but this one was fine even when I applied it generously.
