It is one of my essential items. In the summer, I use it alone, and in the winter, I mix it with a moisturizing cream. It is one of the products I always come back to, even after trying other products.

I don't have a particular aversion to fragrances, so I like skincare products that contain scents. However, this product has a rather strong scent. It's reminiscent of slightly aged sesame oil...? The smell is noticeable, but it's tolerable to apply.

Rosehip Oil for Oily Skin

This oil seems to be suitable for oily skin, as it is specifically formulated for oily skin types. The sebum in human skin becomes stickier as the ratio of oleic acid to linoleic acid increases. Oils high in oleic acid are more suitable for dry skin, while oils high in linoleic acid are better for oily skin. This Rosehip Oil is one of the oils with a higher linoleic acid content than oleic acid, making it feel lightweight and absorb quickly. It also helps thin out sebum, preventing pores from getting clogged.

In addition to the benefits mentioned, Rosehip Oil is also rich in natural vitamins. One of the well-known vitamins it contains is Vitamin A, which can improve skin texture and brightness, as experienced by the user.

🩵Texture and Consistency: Although it has a thin, oily texture, it's lightweight and easy to use (first and second photos - tested on hand).
🩵Effects: I've tried a few other oils, but I haven't found one as good as this yet. I heard from a dermatologist that applying an oil as the last step in skincare can create a moisturizing barrier to prevent moisture loss. In the winter when my skin gets really dry and feels like it's going to crack, I apply this oil as the final step, and it definitely makes my skin less dry! (The second and third photos are right after application.)
🩵Fragrance: It's almost fragrance-free, with just a slight natural (plant?) scent, but it's not unpleasant - it has a natural, earthy smell. :)
🩵Pros: You only need a drop or two, so even though I've been using it for months, the amount hasn't decreased much (see last photo). It's an amazing value for the price.

I mix a few drops into my cream when doing my morning and evening skincare, and it absorbs well and provides even better moisture, which I like.

It's not enough to use on its own. Other than that, there don't seem to be any other downsides.

The disappointing part is that there's nothing in particular, but it sometimes doesn't mix well with the cream.

The good thing is that I'm using it by dropping just a drop or two, and it applies quite well to my face.

As someone with oily skin, I do have a slight aversion to putting oils on my face. I'll use this one more time, but I think I'll try out some other products going forward. It's not bad, though.

The oil-based formula definitely gives it good spreadability. When I apply it before bed and wake up the next morning, my skin feels smooth and supple.

Even though I have dry skin, I found it to be too heavy for me. I don't reach for it often on my face, so I've been mixing it into my body lotion to use it up.
