The absorption was really, really good. It didn't cause any pilling or vomiting, and it just sank right in as I applied it. Even in the winter, when I have an oily T-zone, it didn't make my skin feel greasy at all. I kept layering it on and was amazed at how soft and smooth my skin became. I couldn't help but keep touching my face in the mirror, and it felt like a gentle, milky baby cream. I had heard that milk is great for hydration and skin protection, and I had done a milk pack before where I felt that same soothing sensation. But I had stopped doing masks regularly because it was too much of a hassle. This milk-like lotion had the effects of a rich cream, though! I used to think heavy, creamy formulas were the best, but this changed my preconceptions. After eating something spicy and hot, my face was flushed, so I normally would have just spritzed on a mist. But I decided to try the Biomic cream, and while it didn't have a cooling sensation, it was amazing at reducing the heat. I've tried so many redness-soothing products, but they would only work temporarily. This one kept the heat down for a long time, and my irritated skin felt so much better. I'm excited to see if long-term use can also help with the enlarged pores that come from the heat. I even tried putting the cream on first and then eating something spicy, and my cheeks stayed calm and didn't flush at all. I was amazed when I looked in the mirror and saw my cheeks were still a little red, but the cream had prevented the full-blown flush. I had to reapply a bit more cream since there was some dryness, but overall I'm so happy to have found a product that really understands what my skin needs. I'll probably finish this up quickly, because my skin feels so comfortable and happy all day long. I used to just like pretty packaging, but now I'm totally smitten with the simple, clean look of Biomic. Skin, I'm sorry I've been treating you so roughly all this time... I'm really curious to try more Biomic products, and I highly recommend at least giving the cream a shot!
