I was disappointed with everything except the fragrance. I have atopic skin, so in the winter my body gets so dry and itchy that I have to use body lotion. There was a sale, and it was said to be moisturizing, so I bought it. But it didn't suit my skin.

The dryness remained, and I felt even more itchy, with something bumpy coming up. I stopped using it and switched to another body lotion, which helped.

I think some of the ingredients didn't agree with me. What I'm most disappointed about is the moisturizing power and spreadability. Even after applying the lotion, my skin didn't feel moisturized or absorbed it well, so the spreadability was a bit lacking.

The scent was not too strong, so it wasn't bad to use. And the texture is similar to a lotion, just about right.

The fragrance doesn't last very long. Even though I matched the shampoo, body wash, body mist, and perfume all in the same soap-based scent family, the scent of this lotion didn't seem to linger as long. But this is a common trait of most body lotions, so I don't consider it a major issue. If you want a more persistent fragrance, you'd probably want to go with a perfume instead.

🥹 Fragrance sophistication
The scent isn't super high-end or anything, it's just a typical dove-like soap fragrance! Comparing it to the Sanmaru lotion, the Sanmaru one has a lighter, softer, more floral scent, while this one has a heavier, deeper, more rugged feel. But I don't really distinguish high-end perfume-like scents, and I actually quite like this kind of soap-like fragrance, so it didn't bother me much. (If anything, the better moisturization and value of this one made me like it even more.)

The fragrance is great if you like the scent of Dove soap! It has a similar fragrance profile. Personally, I felt it was quite similar to the blue/black patterned body lotion. But this one has much better value!

The moisturizing power was just right for me - not too thick and heavy, but not too light and watery either. However, it may be a bit lacking in the winter.

The packaging is pump-style, which I think is ideal for a body lotion. The design isn't particularly outdated either, which I appreciate.
