It's perfect for a light application! Even if you apply a lot, it doesn't pill, making it great for layering. You can apply a generous amount before bed, and in the morning your skin feels soft and fresh! On dry days, it's ideal to use as a finishing cream over a hydrating moisturizer. It doesn't transfer to your pillow or bedding, which is a plus! I haven't tried applying makeup over it yet, but I think it would work well as a base for makeup on oily areas or during summer. It's almost like a primer! ConsRecommendedThe first time I applied it, I thought the tingling was due to my skin condition, but it stings every time I use it. My whole face felt irritated! The burning sensation subsides quickly, but I suspect there might be an ingredient that's irritating to my skin. While there's a sensation of irritation, I haven't experienced any blemishes from using it yet. After application, my skin texture feels so smooth that I want to keep applying it... haha.
