It was good, even though it was a professional product. Make sure to thoroughly do the basics, or your skin will be ruined.

You can use a very small amount of this as a primer-like base and then apply another foundation on top. Just be mindful of the amount you use. I like to use a tiny bit of this all over my face and then add a small amount of Maestro Fusion on top when I'm going for a more polished makeup look.
Also, applying it with a good, long-lasting foundation brush and then lightly tapping it in with a broad surface can create a natural yet slightly more refined skin finish.

The formula and application feel suitable for oily skin, but my skin tends to get shiny and the foundation wears off quickly. It doesn't break down horribly, but just fades away. As someone who doesn't touch up their makeup throughout the day, a light dusting of powder helps extend the wear time a bit.
However, I would be cautious about using this in drier seasons, as it can accentuate any flakiness or dryness.

This foundation melts into the skin with a soft, plush texture. Although it's a foundation, the pigments are not very strong, so the coverage is quite sheer. Instead, it slightly fills in pores and evens out the overall skin tone.
I usually use Armani shades 2 or 4, but the sales associate recommended shade 0.5 for me. 0.5 has some pearl in it, so I thought it might not be as suitable, so I purchased shade 1 and tried samples of 0.5 and 2. Honestly, I didn't notice much difference in the shades when I applied them to my face. That's how natural and sheer the coverage is. You can build up the coverage a bit by layering, but due to the formula, it can start to look cakey or settle into fine lines. So I prefer to apply a small amount and use it almost like a primer on days when I need a bit more coverage.
It doesn't work great with a sponge, but I find that gently stippling it on with my fingers or using a flat foundation brush works well.
