I had previously used two peeling gel products - the Innisfree Green Barley Peeling Gel and the Missha Aqua Peeling Gel. Compared to those two, this one felt more gentle and less irritating when I massaged it on. The scent seems familiar, but I'm not sure exactly what it is. 😅 After peeling, my complexion definitely looks brighter, and there's no flaky skin the next day when I apply makeup. Plus, since I exfoliated right after the peeling, my skin feels super smooth and more moisturized than when I've used other peeling products. I would definitely repurchase this! ㅎ

This is a review from a Hwahae Trial Reviewer After using it for about a week, I can say it's very good! I usually use Missha's peeling gel, but this one is softer and seems to do a better job of removing dead skin cells. The scent is also nice. When I used to do peeling, my face would feel irritated and stinging, but this one gently exfoliates without any discomfort. This is a review I wrote after receiving the product as a winner of the Hwahae Trial Reviewer event. ✔️ Skin Type: Extremely sensitive + oily ✔️ Current Condition: Severe acne has subsided, but there are many reddish marks left, and I have a couple of small pimples ✔️ Usage Frequency for 2 weeks: 3 times - Texture: Relatively thin, soft particles - Scent: Subtle herbal fragrance - Irritation Level: Very low As mentioned earlier, my skin is in a very sensitive state. That's why I completely avoided peeling before, as the acne was severe. Now, I have only a couple of pimples left, and the marks have faded, so I'm using the peeling once a week to manage my skin. The things I liked most about using this product were: 1) The ingredients are all skin-friendly, suitable for oily/dry/sensitive skin types. 2) The scrub particles were incredibly soft! For someone like me with acne-prone and sensitive skin, even a slight roughness can cause redness and worsen the breakouts. But the Second Design peeling gel was not irritating at all, and there was no redness or trouble after use. (I followed the instructions to remove excess moisture before peeling, and I cleansed my face with warm water before applying the peeling gel.) And the refreshing, smooth feeling after cleansing was something my acne-prone skin couldn't experience before. Normally, I just use toner and ampoule for skincare, but the lasting smoothness is really satisfying! I have been using this product about 4 times since June 20th (sharing with my mom). The formula is like a typical peeling product. When you rub it, it gathers into little balls that help remove dead skin. 🐣Scent🐣 The scent is not too strong, which I liked. It's similar to the Swaneco Coco Herb Peeling product. 🐣Sensitivity🐣 Unlike typical peeling products, this one is gentle. Some peeling products require a lot of pressure and can be painful after use, but this one is soft and doesn't irritate my skin at all! I didn't get any breakouts either. 🐣After Use🐣 I usually find that my dead skin comes back within 2-3 days after peeling, but with this product, it took about a week for the dead skin to gradually reappear. After using the product, I tested my skin and it felt moisturized. Other peeling products tend to strip away moisture, but this one seemed to help maintain hydration. My mom is in her early 40s and she said it helped with her dryness as well!
Cons
The only downside is that if you don't control the amount when applying, a lot of product comes out. And during use, the little peeling balls can fall off, which is a bit inconvenient.
