Firstly, I have a somewhat darker complexion, and it doesn't lighten my skin. It's just like a white cream that I apply on my skin and it looks odd.
Not suitable for my skin tone.

In my personal opinion, the fragrance is just too strong. 
I'm used to using fragrance-free products, so the lingering scent is quite overwhelming for me.

🍀Skin Type: In the summer, my skin gets very oily, so I just need to apply a light cream. In the winter, my skin gets dry, so I need to use a toner, serum, and cream. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone. If I use products with poor ingredients, I get pimples and the affected area becomes itchy, so I have sensitive skin.

🍀Fragrance: It has a calamine-like scent and an artificial floral fragrance that is extremely strong. The fragrance is so strong that it almost stings my nose. But the fragrance does become weaker over time.

🍀Texture: I thought it would be thick since it's a tone-up cream, but it's actually a soft and lightweight moisturizing cream.

🍀Usage: It applies smoothly and feels very moisturizing, like a hydrating cream. But it does leave a slightly oily finish, so my skin looks a bit shiny. When I use it alone, it takes some time to absorb the initial oiliness, but after a while, my skin looks like it has no product on, with a natural and radiant appearance. However, for those with already oily skin, using a powder on top would be a good idea.
When I use foundation or cushion on top, the oil from the tone-up cream and the product can mix together, so using an additional hydrating product on top might cause the makeup to break down. 

🍀Ingredients: It only has 2 allergy-causing ingredients, so it seems like a decent product. I didn't have any allergic reactions and my face didn't feel itchy when I applied it.

The only downside is that if you have dry skin, it may feel a bit tacky at times.

I bought it expecting my skin to lighten, but my skin tone is still the same.

It's good for removing blemishes. If you apply it consistently for about 1-2 weeks, you'll see that the blemishes or freckles that would normally take a month to disappear will start to fade away.

The scent is like a traditional herbal cosmetic. I don't really like the fragrance, so I dislike applying it every time. 
The hydration is just that, nothing more. It's just a basic cream to use at the end of your skincare routine, nothing else. There's no whitening effect like Toning Light. Since I'm on the fairer side, there's absolutely no tone-up effect. No matter how much I apply or how many times, it's just a colorless cream. Since there's no visible effect, I can't evaluate its lasting power. I also think it doesn't have any UV protection function... There's really no reason for me to use it. It's a waste of money.
The hydration isn't from moisture, but from oil... My face gets oily when I use this alone. Even in the middle of summer when I used to just need blotting paper once a day, I now have to use it once every day after applying this product. I've only used it for 2 weeks, but the amount is huge, so I'm wondering how I should use it up.

I've been using Toning Light for 3 years, and since a new product for dry skin came out, I decided to try it. It's definitely more moisturizing than Toning Light. It's hydrating. It's like a regular cream. It spreads well.
