This is a volumizing shampoo. My flyaway hairs stick out so much and float around. The fragrance is very rich and heavy. It's a scent that suits the winter.

The fragrance was personally not great for me - it had a somewhat artificial fabric softener-like smell.

I bought this shampoo because it was on sale at Emart, and after trying it, I found the cleansing power to be good.

 The dry scalp and scalp flakiness have disappeared, and since it's moisturizing, it's no longer itchy. The lather is great, it rinses out well, and even after thorough rinsing, my hair is not stiff but soft and light.

I usually wash my hair every other day, and while the fragrance is not overpowering, it has a nice, subtle scent that lingers. Maybe it's because of those 7 fragrance ingredients? Even if I don't wash my hair for 3 days, there's no scalp odor, and the nice fragrance continues.

I was saddened to see the changed ingredients, but the great user experience and the disappearance of the itchiness make me want to continue using it. However, I'll have to think it over before repurchasing.

 Even though the scalp itchiness subsided and the user reviews were good, I'm disappointed by the ingredients, which are really the crux of the matter. I purchased the shampoo based on the ingredients listed on Hwahae, but the ingredients changed from 2019 to 2020.

1. The same shampoo had different ingredient listings - the one sold at the local mart was from 2019, while the one at E-mart was from 2020.

2. It seems they added a bunch of fragrance ingredients that are known to cause allergies, likely based on feedback that the fragrance doesn't last long. Even though these are listed at the end and are probably in small amounts, it's still disappointing to see so many fragrance ingredients in a volume shampoo, rather than a perfumed shampoo.

3. I reached out to Hwahae about the ingredient changes, and I was shocked to see that the 2020 version had 7 additional allergy-inducing ingredients that were not present in the 2019 version.

 I used to use the Organist Jeju Muwanja Shampoo with menthol ingredients for about 2 years because I liked the refreshing feeling on my scalp.
However, the menthol ingredients seemed to have made my scalp sensitive, and the more I used it, the more my scalp became itchy, my hair became stiff and heavy, and my scalp became dry. So I switched to the Kerasys Advanced Volume Shampoo, and I'm very satisfied with it!
After just 3 days of using it, the itchiness on my scalp completely disappeared. It must be the power of the collagen and panthenol ingredients. I had stubbornly avoided shampoos with sulfate and dimethicone ingredients for almost 2 years, but I'm glad I switched back to Kerasys.
The Jeju Muwanja Shampoo was a recommended Hwahae Trial Reviewer shampoo, and the ingredients were quite good, but as my hair grew longer, past shoulder-length, the lather didn't come out well and my hair didn't curl nicely. It was stiff and heavy, and my scalp felt stuffy...
Using the Kerasys Advanced Shampoo, even a small amount creates a lot of lather, and the scalp massage feels great. With my long hair, it seems silicone-based ingredients are necessary, as after rinsing, my hair feels soft and light. The concern I had about cutting my hair short because it was too heavy has completely disappeared.
My hair tends to get oily quickly even though my scalp is dry, but with the good lather, thorough rinsing, and diligent scalp massage, I feel great after washing my hair!
Shampoo is something I use daily, so I've stubbornly avoided chemical ingredients, but it seems there's no absolute rule, and it's about finding the right balance.

While it doesn't cause scalp acne, the ingredients are not good... (I'm more concerned about the cleansing power and lather than the ingredients.)

The cleansing power and ingredients are not great, but the cleansing power is excellent. As I have an oily scalp, cleansing power is important, and I'm satisfied with the cleansing power.
The lather is very rich and abundant. While it's not good for the scalp, the abundant lather is preferable.
The formula is a typical shampoo with a viscous texture.
The fragrance is good. It's nice when washing, but doesn't last long. The fragrance can still be detected when I let my hair down.
Without using a conditioner or treatment, the hair doesn't feel stiff, but there is some dullness. Applying an essence helps with that. (For reference, I have virgin hair that hasn't been dyed or permed for over 5 years, so my hair is not damaged.)

But after using this shampoo, my hair seems to have more volume and the oiliness has reduced significantly. The fragrance is not too overpowering, but rather subtle and pleasant. My hair condition has improved, especially the previously dry and split ends now appear more moisturized. This seems to be a good value-for-money shampoo.
