This is an essence that you have to shake by turning the bottom of the bottle to mix the active ingredients before use. It starts as a colorless liquid, but turns red when you turn the bottom and mix it.
It has a light grape juice-like fragrance and a thin, almost runny texture that feels a bit like a skin toner. However, when applied, it has a slightly oily feel. The oil content makes it smooth and easy to apply, but it doesn't absorb quickly. You need to roll it around on your skin for a bit before it fully absorbs. After absorption, your skin feels slightly tightened. While it can't do much for deep wrinkles, with consistent use, it helps manage fine lines. It also has good moisturizing properties, so in summer seasons you may not need to apply a separate cream to maintain the moisture.

The size is too small. I wish there was a larger size option available.

I prefer oils over thick creams, so I apply this Resveratrol ampoule after toner and essence, and my skin stays hydrated even in the cold season. I've tried various First Aider products, but their ingredients were not great and the stickiness and absorption were always lacking. This product is quite nice though. It's the only First Aider product I really like.

Applying a cream after the skin and ampoule will make your skin even more plump.
