When I bought the product, the sales associate recommended applying it with my fingers like a cream, rather than using a sponge, since it's more of a skincare product. But I find it inconvenient to use my fingers when doing my makeup, so I've been using a brush. I first lightly coat the brush with a bit of petroleum jelly (to create a 'coated' effect), then mix the foundation and the serum I'm using on the back of my hand, and apply it smoothly with the brush for a dewy finish.

I prefer a somewhat dewy skin expression, but the product itself has a semi-matte finish, so I took off one star.

In the summer, my skin suddenly became flushed and bumpy, so I switched to a gentle skincare product that was said to have 80% skincare ingredients. The texture is very watery - when squeezed onto the back of my hand, it flows easily. So the spreadability is quite good. At first glance, it looks a bit dark, but when applied, it gives a bright, natural finish. I recommend testing it out and choosing the right shade. I prefer a light, natural-looking skin expression over a thick, matte one, and this seems to suit me well (I even gave it to my sister right after trying it once...). The product itself has a semi-matte finish, but I mix it with a serum to get a dewy, satisfying finish.

I first apply it all over with a brush, then use a damp sponge to dab and press it in for better absorption!

If I had to point out a downside, it would be the coverage. To increase the coverage, you'd need to apply an extra layer or use a concealer.

- The texture is quite runny and moist, but after application, it doesn't become glossy or anything, just a slightly fluffy finish. It applies thinly and adheres well, and there's no crumbling or darkening.

- As it's a Japanese product, there is a slight yellowish tint. I'm using shade 100, which is the lightest, around 18-21 in shade. At first glance, it looks a bit yellow, but once applied and absorbed into the skin, it brightens up.

- The coverage is medium, and it doesn't fully conceal large blemishes, but it does cover pores and smaller imperfections. For bigger trouble spots, I still need to use a concealer.

- Products that focus on coverage tend to apply quite thickly, but this foundation applies thinly and adheres lightly, which is perfect for those who prefer a lightweight, seamless finish!

I had to stop using it because it was causing breakouts on my face. It's been about 2 weeks.
Instead, my mom has been using it, and she says the coverage is a bit light for her, so she's been using it as a base.

I bought the Ultimate Protective Pristine Primer Glow and used it together, but after using it, I felt like there were small bumps appearing on my face. Since I don't usually wear much makeup, I thought it was just in my head. But it turned out that's what was happening... Especially around the sides of my nose.
I had never used a primer before, so I wondered if the primer was causing something to come up in my pores. I stopped using the primer and just used the foundation, but even then, though less than when I used both, the bumps were still coming up.
But if I cleanse thoroughly and take good care of my skin, it settles down in about 2 days... So I've just been using it sporadically.
And the foundation, despite its watery texture, has a tendency to feel a bit lifted if you're not careful when applying it...
It just doesn't seem to have that seamless adhesion...

The product claims to contain over 80% skincare ingredients and has a healthy brand image, so I purchased it at the duty-free shop and have been using it. I've used it about 100 times.
