It's soft and nice. The initial feeling is slightly scratchy, but as soon as it's applied to the face, it becomes wonderfully oily and smooth. When massaging, the cleansing is done very well without any irritation. This is my first time trying a balm-type cleansing product, and I'm really liking it. The sample size is 3ml, but it lasts for several uses.
