The fragrance is pleasant and the hair becomes soft. However, I was oily-haired, so the price was good among the Aveda line and the fragrance was also luxurious.
Cons
I get acne even though I wash it well.. This seems to be the fate of my oily scalp.

Pros
I received a sample of the essence and the next day I bought a liter of it along with the conditioner. It lathers well and has a smooth feel, but it doesn't leave a slippery feeling on my hands. I was worried the cherry scent would be too sweet, but it's just the right amount of refreshing. My hair is really like straw, with very little volume and a broom-like texture, but these products have transformed it into real human hair. Surprisingly, it doesn't feel weighed down or overly coated. There's volume, but a smooth feel.
