* Color: I use shade 21 for foundation! I have a cool undertone. While I'm not extremely fair, my face is generally lighter than average. This product enhances dimension with a natural finish. If you want a dramatic look, this might not be for you, but if you're after a subtle yet noticeable difference, I highly recommend this shade! As long as you're not very dark-skinned, it should blend naturally for most complexions.

Application:
I used to apply it on my jawline and forehead. Lately, I've been using cream products, so I've been using this for nose contouring. For nose contouring, it's a bit dark for shade 21, so I use less product and blend carefully.

I bought this based on recommendations for a contouring shade, but it's not suitable for that purpose. It's more appropriate as a light base color instead.

I'm a bit concerned about the expiration date though. That's how long it lasts! MAC's Skinfinish products are really great. Their highlighters are good too, but this darker shade works wonderfully for contouring as well.

It's barely noticeable, which is a downside, and I'm not sure about the purpose of the attached mirror. Once you dip the brush in, excess powder flies everywhere, covering the mirror. I actually think it might be better without the mirror.
