As someone with super sensitive skin who occasionally gets hives from certain foods, I experienced a burning sensation when I first used it. After checking the ingredients on Hwahae, I realized it might not be the best fit for my sensitive skin. I'm planning to switch to a different product after using it a few times.

Absorbs smoothly and provides hydration, making it a pleasure to use. It's not suffocating, yet not too light either, which I really appreciate. The water-based formula suggests it'll be used up quickly! It has a gentle, floral scent reminiscent of cherry blossoms, which made the application process enjoyable. The package design is truly beautiful, with flower petals inside giving it a unique touch. It would make an excellent gift!

The only minor issue is that some flower petals come out at the end. Other than that, I didn't find anything disappointing about it.

I received this as a gift and found it to be quite decent. The toner has a nice balance - not too heavy, not too light, making it comfortable to hold and apply. While I'm not sure about its effectiveness as a micellar product, I've often heard comments from others that my complexion has brightened.

This works better in winter than in summer. In summer, it might make your makeup more prone to melting. When used after cleansing in the evening, you can feel how soft and smooth your skin becomes by the next morning's cleanse.

It can be a bit inconvenient when flower petals occasionally come out while using the toner. This happens more frequently as you get close to finishing the bottle.

When applied with a cotton pad, it gently smooths out the skin texture. It works even better when used together with the emulsion from the set! As someone with dry skin, I always struggled in winter, but switching to this toner and emulsion has really helped solve my issues.

I'm not sure about its brightening effects. It might be too rich for summer use. Probably not great for oily skin types either.

For a toner, it has a slight richness that makes it a holy grail product for extremely dry times like now. Plus, being a water-based toner, it's excellent for use after an exfoliating toner or as a first or second toner step. I love that it's not heavy yet provides great hydration.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but every time I applied it, I felt gritty particles on my face, similar to when using a peeling gel. At first, I thought it might be dead skin cells, so I exfoliated and tried again. Even after washing my face and reapplying, those little granules were still there. It was quite disappointing, and I won't be repurchasing.

I tried a sample and found the scent pleasant when applying. It also felt quite hydrating on my skin.

The packaging is beautiful. When you shake the toner, cherry blossoms shimmer inside, and it's even prettier when held up to the light! I bought it during a sale on the Hwahae website, getting the toner, emulsion, cream, and 10 sheet masks for just $49 - an incredibly reasonable price. It doesn't evaporate quickly and leaves a nice glow after application.

Make sure to shake it under fluorescent lights and sunlight!

It would be nice if there was a larger size available, though that might compromise the beauty of the bottle. The price is a bit high for the amount you get, but keep an eye out for sales!

This review is based on using up an entire bottle. First off, when I received this product, I spent the whole day shaking it under different lights. The cherry blossom leaf-shaped hydrogel particles floating inside were absolutely mesmerizing. Every time I used it, the beautiful design lifted my spirits and made me feel refreshed. The hydration is excellent, and it works well as a toner too. Above all, I give high marks for the packaging design. It would make a lovely gift. I'm really satisfied with the basic skincare products in J.Jun's Intensive Shining line.
