First off, the biggest plus is the absolutely gorgeous case! It's so sparkly and ethereal. The powder inside is just like any other, effectively absorbing excess oil. While it's translucent, it brightens up your complexion when applied. I'd recommend this for those with fair skin. Considering the price, the product itself is decent - neither exceptionally good nor bad. This could be both a pro and a con, but since it whitens your skin when applied, using too much might make you look cakey. Also, I didn't notice any pore-blurring effect. If anything, as time passes, it seems to clump and actually emphasize pores more. The biggest drawback is that it only has a single plastic sheet as a lid! This is really inconvenient. Plus, it doesn't seem suitable for our mask-wearing times - it feels like it clumps with moisture. I recommend using a powder brush to sweep it on rather than applying heavily with the puff, as that can make your face look too white.

As a limited holiday edition that's released annually, the anticipation adds to the fun. (Personally, I think the 2017 edition was even prettier.) One of the great things about Snow Beauty is that while it comes with one compact, it includes two puffs. One is for applying powder during makeup application, and the other can be used for nighttime touch-ups. The powder has a lovely scent and creates a soft, matte complexion. Among all the powders I've tried, this one stands out not only for its beautiful packaging and large mirror but also for its ability to create a velvety finish with a delightful fragrance. It's truly the best in my opinion. I use this powder over my foundation. However, I find that I don't really use it as a nighttime powder as suggested. I tend to stick with the puff for post-makeup application and don't see the need for a separate nighttime use. This is just my personal preference. Also, it's a bit disappointing that there are no refills available, so I have to wait until next year's release to get a new one. On the bright side, I'm looking forward to seeing what beautiful design they'll come up with for next year's edition! For best results, I recommend using a hydrating skincare product rather than a very dry one. Apply your foundation, then dust on the Snow Beauty powder for that baby-soft skin effect. It works wonders in creating a flawless complexion!
