Despite the slightly higher price tag due to the 'no silicone' claim, I decided to give it a try, and I was immediately impressed. My hair became calmer, the fragrance lasted a long time, and even after applying it multiple times, it didn't make my hair greasy. Most importantly, I was able to achieve such a soft and smooth hair texture without the use of silicone, which was the most satisfying aspect. I've been using it for over a month, and I used to constantly get scolded at the salon for having dry hair, needing a deep conditioning treatment, and having some damage. But after using this product consistently, I recently went to the salon and, for the first time, was told that my at-home hair care routine was excellent. I was so satisfied with this product that I ended up selling all my other hair essences on Carrot Market, as I plan to continue using this one consistently.
ConsCompared to the many hair essences available at drugstores, the price-to-volume ratio is a bit on the higher side...? And as mentioned in the description, even though it's a spray type, you have to spray it onto your palm first and then apply it to your hair, so I wonder if a spray type is really necessary in this case. It has a strong coconut or vanilla-like fragrance, and the scent lasts quite a long time, which might feel a bit overwhelming to use in the summer.
TipIt doesn't go on sale often, but let's try to wait for a sale and purchase it then!

It's great because it applies smoothly without leaving a greasy residue. My hair looks calm and healthy after using it.
ConsThe scent is a bit strong, like a pungent herbal smell. But it's not overpowering when applied to the hair.
TipBe sure to spray it on your hands first and then work it through your hair. The instructions also recommend applying it that way.

I was worried about my hair condition, so I was looking for a silicone-free hair oil/essence and found out about the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. I was worried that if it wasn't good, what would I do, but as the person below said, after washing my hair and just towel-drying it, I sprayed it on my hands and evenly applied it all over my hair, especially the ends, brushed it through, and air-dried it, and my hair became so smooth and calm. I recently really wanted to get a short haircut, and I did, but since I have wavy hair and a lot of volume, when my hair was wet it was fine, but as it dried, it just kept getting puffier and fluffier. And since I've bleached it twice and dyed it multiple times, my hair is so damaged that I can't go out without using a curling iron. But when I apply this and air-dry it, my short hair becomes so smooth and calm! The scent is just a typical hair oil scent, and the formula is almost like water, so when I apply it and let it dry, it doesn't feel heavy at all, and even if I use a lot, it doesn't get greasy. It just makes my hair feel light and so calm and smooth. I was hesitant to buy this when I went to Olive Young because there were no reviews and it didn't look that appealing, and I was considering buying a different product that was clearly marketed for wavy/curly hair. But I saw this silicone-free one and decided to get it. But oh my god, I'm so satisfied, so satisfied, so satisfied, extremely satisfied. I only had curling irons as an option for styling my short hair, and I heard that if the products have silicone, every time you blow-dry or use a curling iron, the silicone melts and damages your hair more and more. So I thought I'd buy a silicone-free oil, apply it, air-dry my hair, and then use the curling iron. But somehow, I just don't need the curling iron anymore. I don't even know how or why my hair has become so calm and smooth, but I really want to strongly recommend this to anyone who has a lot of volume, wavy, or curly hair that tends to get puffy. Out of all the hair products I've tried, this is truly the best. I usually don't bother writing reviews, but this was such an unexpected and great effect that I had to leave a review. It's the best!
ConsThe only downside, if I had to find one, is that this product may not be suitable for people who originally have thin hair and don't like their hair sticking close to their head.
TipYou apply it evenly all over your hair, from roots to ends, when your hair is wet just after washing and you've only toweled off the excess moisture. I personally make sure to apply a bit more to the ends. Then you brush it through and let it air-dry. I haven't tried using a hair dryer with it, but air-drying takes much longer than usual, but that's how it gets so smooth and calm. When I applied it to completely dry hair, it didn't help with frizziness or make my hair feel more moisturized and smooth. So applying it to wet hair seems to be the most important step.

I don't know why more people aren't using it. Before blow-drying your hair, just spritz some on your hands, apply it generously to your hair, and when you're done blow-drying, your hair will be so smooth the next day! I recommended this to a friend with really frizzy, damaged hair, and she was so grateful and has already repurchased it. 💖
ConsThe scent is a bit polarizing, kind of like a strong perfume. And I wish I could give it one less star because of the ingredients, but I held back. Also, I'm not sure why they made it a spray type formula.
TipMake sure not to spray it directly on your hair. Spray it on your hands first, then apply it to your hair.
