After my previous product caused havoc on my face every time I applied it, I bought this one before even finishing the other. I prioritized the ingredients when purchasing, and fortunately, it seems to suit my skin as it doesn't cause severe blemishes. Above all, the product's effectiveness is not bad. The brightening moisturizer works well for evening out my skin tone. The staying power isn't particularly impressive. Moreover, in summer, it breaks down even more quickly due to excess oil and sweat. I keep blotting with oil-absorbing sheets and frequently cool my face with fresh air. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2021
The application is quite nice, and I love how it brightens up my complexion beautifully. Unfortunately, it tends to settle into lines and break down, and the brightening effect doesn't last very long. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 13, 2020
This is the most natural brightening moisturizer I've ever used. It applies smoothly and is great for evening out the skin tone on your neck when doing makeup. (Highly recommended for those who use a foundation one shade darker because their face is rosy and pale while their neck is yellowish) Despite some reviews on the purchase site claiming it was moisturizing, I applied it after just using an exfoliating toner (I have combination dehydrated skin). When I went out, I noticed white flakes all over my face, as if I had rubbed a peeling gel. It seems to be moisturizing only during application For best results, apply a solid skincare base first, then use a pea-sized amount and gently pat it in for a natural, flattering finish - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 25, 2019
I loved this brightening moisturizer because it brightens and whitens your complexion with just a small amount! The application was fantastic, and after it absorbed, there was minimal stickiness. It worked great with foundation without any pilling issues! As it's a brightening moisturizer, it didn't completely cover all my blemishes. You can achieve a light makeup look by using this to brighten your overall complexion, then just cover any remaining blemishes with a bit of foundation or concealer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 6, 2019
I loved how it naturally brightened my complexion while applying smoothly and leaving a soft, matte finish. The cream has a light pink tint rather than stark white, which seemed to give a more natural and lively tone-up effect. It's perfect for wearing to school. The packaging design is quite nice, and there's a generous amount of product inside. Plus, its compact size fits well in my makeup pouch. This brightening moisturizer is a versatile choice that both dry and oily skin types can use comfortably. I was concerned it might wash off like milk, leaving white residue, so I tried rinsing my face with water after application. Unfortunately, it did leave white streaks running off. As I tend to sweat a bit in summer, I'll probably only be able to use this in spring, fall, or winter. Those who perspire a lot should keep this in mind. Also, there was a slightly odd scent, but it didn't bother me as I'm not sensitive to smells. However, if you are sensitive to fragrances, I wouldn't recommend this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2019
Affordable brightening moisturizers often have a stiff texture that settles into wrinkles and leaves a white cast, but this product has a light, emulsion-like consistency that finishes with a fresh, hydrated feel! It has a slight pink tint that gives your skin a beautiful, natural-looking brightness without being excessive. Plus, the packaging is gorgeous, it contains soothing ingredients, and the staying power isn't bad. It's perfect for schools where makeup isn't allowed or for a bare-faced look. The absorption and color development are a bit on the slower side. It contains fragrance, which is one of the 20 ingredients to be cautious about, and the scent isn't particularly pleasant - it's reminiscent of old-fashioned cosmetics or medicinal smells. It would be best to remove the fragrance altogether, but if they must include it, a floral or peach scent would be more fitting for this type of product. This is great for quick outings. Since the formula is thin, you can mix it with tint or lipstick to create a soft, subtle blush. If you have BB cream or a base product darker than your skin tone, it could work well mixed with this too! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2019
A little goes a long way in evening out your skin tone! I use it as a makeup base, and it's perfect when my skin is acting up and I can't wear full makeup. The best part is it gives you that 'made-up' look even without foundation. It brightens your complexion so naturally, creating that 'no-makeup makeup' vibe. Though it might be a stretch to pass it off as completely bare skin. The texture is smooth and emulsion-like, gliding on effortlessly. You can layer it without any pilling. I bought two during a sale for $20, but the regular price is quite steep. Sometimes I mix it with foundations or tints that don't work well on their own, but that makes it run out much faster. It's great for mixing with tints to cover dark circles or using as a cream eyeshadow!
