As someone with oily skin, I loved how incredibly lightweight this felt and how it finished without any stickiness. I honestly can't think of any downsides. Keep selling lots so you can stick around for a long time! - ne*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 1, 2025
This lightweight hydrating emulsion is free from oils and silicones, making it safe for oily and blemish-prone skin. Its light texture absorbs well, leaving your skin feeling fresh without any greasiness - perfect as a base before makeup. Despite its lightweight formula, it provides excellent hydration, ideal for hot summers or humid rainy seasons. As an oil-free product, it tackles deep dryness while keeping the skin's surface fresh all day. Unlike other oil-free products that can feel drying, Paula's Choice balances skin texture and deep moisture, keeping you hydrated throughout the day. It's helped reduce the frequency of small blemishes and improved my overall complexion. If you're looking for a refreshing, moisturizing emulsion, I highly recommend this. The price seems a bit high for the small amount you get, and it might be slightly drying during fall and winter months. On days when my skin feels particularly dry, I use the Paula's Choice product on my oily T-zone and a richer emulsion on drier areas. - kb******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2024
It's great for light application and seems perfect for those with oily skin There wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but if I had to pick something, I'd say it's a bit on the pricey side - pz***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 11, 2024
Hello, this is October speaking! Let's talk about summer. It's a season of extremes - either scorching hot with intense sunlight or endless rainy days that make you feel like you're living underwater. It's always one or the other, isn't it? Depending on your skin type, summer can be more stressful than other seasons due to excess oil production. I have combination skin, but in summer it becomes so oily, it's like I've switched to an oily skin type! That's why I want to introduce you to a product I've been loving lately - Paula's Choice Clear Oil-Free Moisture Emulsion. As the name suggests, the Clear Oil-Free Moisturizer is, well, oil-free! It's a hydrating moisturizer that doesn't feel greasy at all, making it perfect for those hot July and August days. I've been using it consistently lately. The finish is incredibly fresh, with a texture that's somewhere between an emulsion and a cream. Not only does it feel super clean on the skin, but surprisingly, even though it's oil-free, it doesn't make your skin feel like the hydration is evaporating quickly. True to Paula's Choice, it's packed with antioxidants. If your skin gets along well with niacinamide, I highly recommend this as your go-to summer moisturizer. It works hard to keep your skin balanced and hydrated without the shine! While it might not provide enough hydration in winter, this moisturizer is absolutely fantastic for summer! - l_******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2023
It's great for applying lightly before bed. I used it frequently during seasons other than winter. In winter, I've paused using it as it feels a bit drying on my skin. - tk******Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 28, 2023
I love that it's oil-free and has a solid ingredient lineup with panthenol, ceramides, and other good stuff It might be too light for some, best for oily skin. The main drawbacks are probably the small amount you get and the price - lh*****Oily SkinRecommendedAug 14, 2023
At first, despite having oily skin, it felt dry, but after my skin barrier recovered somewhat, it wasn't particularly drying when applied. It's a suitable product for oily skin types to use in summer, though it's not extremely hydrating. Non-oily skin types might find it drying if used alone. If you're looking for an oil-free emulsion available domestically, this could be a good choice. I wished it had a bit more moisturizing power. However, since it's an oil-free product, it's probably difficult to expect more hydration than this. When your skin occasionally feels dry, you can mix 1-2 drops of a 100% squalane product (which is also good for oily skin) with this emulsion to help combat the dryness a little. - bi*****Oily SkinNov 1, 2022
I can't think of anything, no matter how hard I try... If I had to pick one thing, maybe the design? It's too thick, so it doesn't absorb well. When applied, there's a tingling sensation and it leaves a white cast. Moreover, it completely fails at its basic function as a moisturizer, leaving my skin incredibly dry. It's the worst moisturizer I've ever used and a mistake from Paula's Choice. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2022
I'm using this product well. It's less greasy compared to others, which I really like. It's a bit disappointing that there's some white cast. It tends to leave a noticeable white residue. - li***********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 13, 2022
The transparent texture feels light and hydrating, making it great for summer use or for those with oily skin. It's both a pro and a con - while it's good for oily skin, it can feel a bit drying.
