While my scalp tends to get oily easily, it usually stays fresh all day with other products. With this one, though, it feels greasy from the afternoon. Oh no, why didn't I check the ingredients before buying this? And to make matters worse, I didn't realize it was discontinued and reformulated when I excitedly bought two bottles at Olive Young. My scalp is naturally oily, and I've been using the wrong shampoo for a while, which led to dandruff and poor scalp health. I saw a YouTuber I often watch strongly recommending this product in a video (which I now realize was posted months ago, but YouTube decided to show it in my feed now, making me think it was recent). They said it was great for oily scalps, reducing greasiness and scalp odor, so I immediately ordered two bottles online from Olive Young to save on shipping. After using it for about two weeks, my scalp became itchy, the dandruff didn't improve at all, and worst of all, I started developing blemishes on my scalp and experiencing overall sensitivity and pain. With my previous shampoo, I had issues like dandruff and quick greasiness, but I never had blemishes or pain on my scalp. After using this product, I clearly noticed blemishes all over my scalp, and even the areas without blemishes became sensitive, stinging, and painful. Just by touching it, I can feel at least 10 small pimple-like bumps on my scalp right now. After two weeks of use, I concluded that this shampoo was definitely the culprit, not any other factors. I finally checked Hwahae, only to find out that the ingredients are extremely irritating and the product has been discontinued. Why didn't I do my usual ingredient check? I was blinded by the YouTuber's high praise.

The only redeeming quality is that it leaves the scalp less greasy and the fresh scent lasts quite long. However, the drawbacks (ingredients and scalp irritation) outweigh this benefit, so I personally wouldn't recommend it at all.
