The ingredients are high-quality. The packaging is simple and attractive. They provide plenty of samples. The scent is not pleasant. After using this, I suddenly developed a lot of acne. While the ingredients don't seem to include any acne-triggering components, I've experienced a significant increase in both pustular and closed comedone blemishes... I bought both the day and night creams, and at first I thought it might be due to the night cream, but even when I only applied the day cream, the breakouts continued... Those with sensitive, acne-prone skin should use caution. - my*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2019
This cream has a unique, slightly thick texture. Rather than being greasy, it feels more like a primer that coats your skin. It feels clean and smooth as you apply it. What's great is that you can layer other products on top without any pilling or separation, which is fantastic. First off, the price is wicked... even considering the amount, it's even more wicked. But I suppose it's unavoidable given the focus on quality ingredients. The pump dispenser is problematic - it doesn't distribute the product evenly and sometimes squirts out like a water gun. Given the high price, losing product this way is painful. Also, the cream itself isn't very stable and is sensitive to temperature changes. Even slight temperature differences can cause it to develop an unpleasant metallic smell. So, I apply this evenly before my mineral sunscreen. This method helps the sunscreen go on more smoothly, eliminating that characteristic chalkiness of mineral formulas. - ka*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 1, 2019
I understand this is a vegan and cruelty-free brand. I got to try it as a sample. I was worried because I have super sensitive skin and many people reported breakouts, but fortunately, I didn't experience any! It's truly a perfect daytime moisturizer. It doesn't feel greasy or heavy, so it was light and pleasant. To be honest, I wasn't expecting any major benefits, so I'm very satisfied! I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. I was concerned that the strong fragrance might cause irritation or sensitivity, but it's actually much gentler than I expected, so I'm continuing to use it happily. Recently, when I had to pack quickly for a trip, this was the only product I could bring. Despite my extremely sensitive skin, I was relieved that it didn't cause any breakouts or acne during the trip. After that experience, I trust this product even more and use it with confidence. While it worked well for me, the product does have a strong fragrance. I think that's why some people whose skin doesn't agree with certain oils might have experienced breakouts. The strong scent is the only downside for me too. I was a bit worried that the intense fragrance might make the product less gentle, but after using it, I found it to be very mild. It's a shame that the strong scent might overshadow its gentleness. It has a lightweight texture and doesn't seem to be very rich in oils. You might want to try mixing in a few drops of your favorite facial oil if you need extra moisture. I'm planning to try that myself! After continued use, I've found that this product layers well with other skincare. Since it's a lightweight cream, if you feel like you need more hydration, you can apply multiple layers for better moisture retention. - gm*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2019
The texture isn't heavy at all. I loved how it locks in hydration with a bouncy feel while being low in oil. Personally, I'm not a fan of skincare products with fragrance, so this wasn't for me. I thought the ingredients would suit my skin well, but after applying, my skin started to itch. I hoped it was just a fluke, but the next day my skin had a bad reaction, so I couldn't use it again after just one application. Such a shame! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2019
The ingredients are great. I tried the cleanser and thought it wasn't bad, so I decided to purchase the full set. Why did I do that? Haha! For some reason, it stings my eyes. It's constantly uncomfortable and I really dislike the scent. I tried using it on my body but gave up. I even tried it as a hand cream but gave up on that too. The night cream was the same story. I opened one jar and gave up, while the other three remain unopened and abandoned. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2018
This cream works well for both dry areas and slightly oily T-zones. I applied an extra layer to drier areas to prevent moisture loss, which helped me survive the dry office air in early winter. I loved the sample so much that I bought the full-size product the very next day! I really enjoy the overall natural scent of Sioris products. It can turn a bit white when you rub it in, so it might take a little time to fully absorb! If it turns white while applying, avoid rubbing and instead gently pat it into your skin. This will help it absorb faster and prevent the whitening effect! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2018
As someone with super sensitive, oily, acne-prone, combination dehydrated skin, and seborrheic dermatitis... I've got all the skin troubles, unfortunately! 😢 Using the wrong moisturizer can lead to clogged pores, blemishes, excess oil production, redness, or it's so light that my skin feels tight. However, this emulsion is great for all seasons except summer. No matter when I apply it, it doesn't cause any tightness. Even in the depths of winter, I just need to apply an extra layer on dry areas. It's wonderfully hydrating, gentle, and a perfect basic moisturizer. I've been using it consistently since last year. I use it in spring, put it away, and then come back to it. Now that I've used it all up, I'm repurchasing and thought I'd write a review. Personally, I have a latex allergy, and my dermatologist advised against using sunflower oil or shea butter as they're in the same family. So finding a moisturizing product without shea butter was challenging. Although this does contain sunflower seed oil somewhere in the middle to end of the ingredient list, fortunately, I didn't have any adverse reactions. I highly recommend this emulsion or cream for those with skin troubles like mine! The only downside is that it's not sold in offline stores. It's better than many products available in-store, which is a shame. - ba**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2018
I love it! It's so gentle! The newly restocked ones have such a fresh scent too, haha! There's nothing bad to say, really! I'll keep using it. It's terrific! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJun 26, 2018
The ingredients are fantastic! That's honestly the only real advantage. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, but I bought this solely based on the ingredient list. There are so many drawbacks that I'm just keeping it at home unused. I really regret not trying a sample first before buying the full size. 1. Not suitable for dry skin It feels drying and tight on the skin. This is definitely not a cream made for dry skin types. It seems more suited for oily skin. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it for extremely dry skin like mine. 2. I bought this hoping to find a product with good ingredients to help with my skin's weakened immunity and milia. However, I deeply regret it. Within a week of use, I developed two cystic blemishes and milia all over my face, issues I never had before. I had to go to an esthetician and pay to have everything extracted and treated. I thought the cleansing milk suited me well, which is why I bought this, but honestly, I'm starting to doubt the cleansing milk too... I bought it because it was affordable with good ingredients, but I'm really disappointed that it ended up costing me so much more in the long run. It might work well for those with oily skin types. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2018
I kept seeing this brand on Instagram and was instantly drawn to its minimalist, chic packaging. Digging deeper, I discovered the brand's name, Sioris, cleverly combines 'SImple' and 'ORIginal.' They craft their products using the freshest, organically-farmed ingredients from Korea, and they're proudly cruelty-free. This day cream is a lightweight, fast-absorbing milky moisturizer containing 75% Prunus Mume Fruit Water (Japanese apricot or Chinese plum). While all ingredients are available online, they're rated safe at 3 or below on EWG, except for one natural ingredient - Cananga Odorata Flower Oil. This cream is packed with beneficial ingredients, too numerous to list here. The fragrance reminds me of calendula. My daughters say it smells like a blend of lemon and cream - sounds delightful, right? The best way to describe it is simply... natural. According to their website, it has a pH of 5.20 and is even safe for children. I'm really enjoying this cream, not just because it feels light and provides good hydration, but also because I know it's very safe for my skin. I'm looking forward to trying more Sioris products in the future - their entire range looks fantastic. I couldn't find any negative aspects to this product. Given its lightweight formula, it's perfect for summer use and as part of your morning skincare routine.
