It's fantastic for itching I always apply this when I get mosquito bites I don't have any complaints, but it's a shame there aren't any - ju******Combination SkinRednessRecommendedMay 20, 2025
Its compact size makes it super portable, and since you melt it with your hands, it absorbs beautifully into the skin. Using your hands to melt and apply it might not be the most hygienic method. I gently apply it to my children's skin when they get mosquito bites and the area swells up. - hy*********Combination SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 17, 2025
Applying this to your heels or elbows before bed has a soothing, healing effect I honestly can't think of any downsides to using this product - hy************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
I primarily use this product for pustular acne. I've tried it on closed comedones too, but it doesn't seem to be as effective for those. Where it really shines is on those particularly painful and hard blemishes that start to form around the nose, philtrum, and below the lips. When I apply it right away, these troublesome spots disappear within 3 days. Personally, I like the herbal scent, but I think it might be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of fragrance for most people. - qj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 11, 2024
When applied to irritated areas before bed, it soothes the skin overnight It keeps getting stuck under my nails, and the case is also difficult to open - pp********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 10, 2024
Unlike many multi-balms that often contain pore-clogging ingredients, I love that the Burt's Bees ointment is completely free of such components. It's great for quickly applying to dry areas, and using your fingers allows for precise control over the amount. Another advantage is its long-lasting moisturizing effect once applied! When applied around the eyes, it can cause a bit of itchiness. Sometimes when I pet my cat after using the ointment, her eyes seem to get slightly red too. Despite this, I'll keep using it! If you have sensitive skin, avoid the eye area and apply frequently to dry spots as needed! - mi**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 15, 2024
♠ Burt's Bees Rescue Ointment Cica ♠ It feels like a natural green salve :) I love that it's 100% naturally derived and said to provide instant soothing when applied to irritated skin. It contains three types of high-purity cica extracted from centella asiatica, which is great for calming the skin. These are Asiatic acid, Asiaticoside, and Madecassic acid~~ When I first opened it, it was in a solid state. I had to rub it with my fingertips to melt it with my body heat, and then it started to come off a bit. I scooped out a small amount with my fingertip and applied it to the needed areas, and it absorbed quickly. I think it might naturally soften a bit in the hot summer months. When applied, it seems to give the skin a slightly greenish tint. - da**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2024
It's great for applying all over! I've been using it since I was young, so I trust it completely. The scent might be hit or miss for some, but for me, it's absolutely divine. I wish there was a perfume with this fragrance... I love it so much that even when I'm not using it, I find myself sneaking a sniff whenever I can. There's not really anything bad to say. Maybe just that it has a slight green tint when applied due to its color? - ji******Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 8, 2024
This product, which I originally used for small cuts or scratches on children's nails, has been renewed! It's a product I absolutely adore. The eucalyptus scent is so lovely that I even use it as a lip balm sometimes. Though the tin case looks small, it lasts surprisingly long. I'm using this new one for the kids, while the older one I had, despite being past its expiration date, is too precious to throw away. So I'm applying it to my heels. The scent hasn't changed, and it still works just as well. It's truly a healing experience. There's nothing particularly bad, but I heard that in the past, a potentially harmful ingredient for eyes was discovered in it. I believe this has been addressed in the improved version. - de**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 28, 2023
As a moisturizing product, it's not suitable for both dry and oily skin types. For dry skin, it lacks sufficient hydration, while for oily skin, it's too rich and can cause blemishes. However, it's excellent as a lip balm and wound healer for chapped, cracked lips in winter. It's highly satisfying when used on specific areas that are too sensitive for regular cosmetics but not severe enough for medication. If used correctly for its intended purpose, there are no downsides. However, those with oily skin should absolutely avoid applying it to their face. It can cause an explosion of small pimples.
