The scent was fine, but it's not the kind of fragrance that makes people turn around as you walk by, and some may even consider it unpleasant.

Since it's a men's product, it has a distinctive locker room-like scent.
And for those with dry scalps, I'd suggest trying the white-colored product shown in the photo next to it. I used that one too, as my scalp was getting a bit dry in the middle of winter, and I was much more satisfied with it. The scent is also more subtle and pleasant.

As winter came around, my scalp started getting itchy, and I happened to see an ad and decided to try it out. 
The product has a blue color, so just looking at it, it seems refreshing.
When you wash your hair, it produces a rich lather, and the menthol ingredient makes it feel cool, but not to the point of being unpleasant or stinging, which I really liked. After using it consistently, the itchiness was greatly reduced.
