  Pros

  Been using it for a week now. For male skin, around shade 27. Sun damage like freckles and blemishes are visible, unfortunately. Pores aren't large but they're noticeable. However, after using it, my skin seems a bit brighter. The pores also appear slightly more refined? Maybe it's because this vitamin C derivative has one of the best absorption rates.

  Cons

  The propanediol is incredibly sticky. You need at least 2 drops to cover one side of your face, which is frustrating. It also takes a long time to absorb. Even high-end brands like The Ordinary use propanediol - they really need to improve this.

  Tip

  Since it's propanediol-based, the risk of oxidation isn't high. And being a derivative, changes in pH shouldn't reduce its absorption much. I mix it with essence or cream before applying. I put a dollop of cream on my forehead and each cheek, then add 3-4 drops (one for the nose) and blend it all together on my face.
